Accordingly, admission procedures for upcoming academic year in internal medicine, general surgery, gynecological surgery, diploma in community health and other courses would start as soon as the necessary documents and directives reach from the ministry, the principal said. Meanwhile, a special unit for treatment of different types of burn injury patients would be opened at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital soon.

Quoting Dr Samanta Lal Sen, director of burn unit project and a specialist of DMCH burn unit, he said within this year special burn units would be opened in public hospitals at divisional level.

Dr Kamaluddin, assistant director of the hospital, Wednesday said a letter from the health directorate recently reached the SBMC.

In that letter, the SBMCH authority has been asked to open a special burn unit in the hospital as soon as possible.

Following that direction, the authority has decided to open a 20-bed burn unit in the first phase on the first floor of the newly constructed ICU building of the hospital complex, Dr Kamaluddin said.

^ oh o, I forgot about AL's terrorism in campus. Which hinders our edu-system. Good.

BTW, there are some good news about education but that does not mean AL is doing these. These are normal developments which happen automatically during any govt. But not for AL's contribution.

You are much welcomed to post....stay on the topic and talk but if you cannot, take your harping somewhere else....people here are educated enough to comprehend the motive of this thread and for a change, try to be un-political....

Well you were posting that our education is getting developed, good. And I was saying that how AL's terrorism hinders this develop. People should know when our edu-system is improving then how terrorism/student politics is hindering this process. Evils should be recognized who create problem in front of everyone.

Btw, continue with more good news, if I will get any other news which hindering our develop then I'll post that again. And, obviously, I will post if I will find anything important good news. But not about HSC/SSC result or which MP said what, which is yet to implement.

@Idune

This thread is based on education.

There is absolutely no need for terrorism news in this thread. We know there is politics based terrorism in Bangladesh. There is separate thread for AL terrorism already,so what's your reason for for ruining this peaceful thread?

It looks like countering the opposition party is more important to you than the progress of our country. :rolleyes:

Education specially the higher education is practically destroyed by Awami league terrorism. Without the depicting the real situation that exists in University and just posting one sided "good color" news this is just another deception thread. Pleople should know the real picture how real situation is good or bad. If your heart buring seeing what Awami terror is doing write to your belioved Awami thugs to fix it. That is more fitting than complaining here.

My heart burns at the sight of degeneracy here....

If you can post problems relating to education system, then do so.This thread is for that, not for external factors like terrorism.Read the title of the thread again, "Education related NEWS and updates : Bangladesh".

And keep this party loving bullshyte away from me,got that?I was not/am not/will never be a Chatra league/chatra dol/shibir cadre, like you were in your student life.I prefer studying, not bullshitting about politics like you do.

I advocate for banning all sort of student politics in govt. institutes as we have in private unis, where all sort of politics is banned.

That way people will study instead of breaking heads of other people from other parties.I am sure you have enough experience of doing that when you were in Bangladesh.
