Dubai now the fifth most visited city in the world

@levina

Does the weather not usually feel warmer when there is a lot of humidity? I mean correct me if I am wrong but Dubai has a lot of humidity too does it not? At least I remember that during my last visit to Dubai which was during the autumn (October).

New Delhi surely has to be more humid overall though?!
Yes its humid too.
I think if you are going in and out of a building you would feel it more. If you are constantly out then the sun literally burns you down to ashes in UAE.
Delhi's pollution kills me, the summer becomes hotter because of it.

This is what I feel...if you ask me for the science behind all this then sorry I am a cold blooded animal and my body functions in a slightly different way. The same temperature of 35-40 feels different in both Delhi and UAE. :undecided:

I visited Dubai last month... warm weather outside, but cool places, beautiful malls, beaches, cool metro and bus system, , wonderful places like marina, dubai mall. Even, Everything in One city. If you like sheesha, koyla is wonderful place...
Daro is also available on demand:alcoholic:

You need to have your liquor license.
It so happened that a british tourist had a few drinks in a hotel and then ended up in a brawl, later he had to go to jail because he didnt have a liquor license. Saying that you were ignorant about the law or that nobody told you about it while you were getting served wont help you to get a bail.

As an italian i can say you, if you can survive venice in summer, Dubai is free game ha ha. I did not feel much heat there in may.

Not bad for once 1 out of 10.000's of small fishing villages that had no historical relevancy at all (Dubai) in the Arab world.;)

The most impressive thing is that new projects are constantly being initiated and the growth happens on all fronts. Only the sky is the limit in Dubai!

I also like the fact that Dubai is a new city and not like most other cities in the Arab world which tend to be very old. The oldest cities on earth are found in the Arab world for instance.

Despite Dubai having a historical quarter too though but not a big one.

Yes, Only very few incidents. Law is there, but no strict Implementation. People should not drink on roads. This is risky.

Nope that incident happened inside the hotel.
And drunk driving is more dangerous. Even if you're not at fault the accident and its blame might come on you.
Drinking at a freind's place who has liquor license would be the safest thing to do.lolzz

Before I forget no PDA. :)

Dubai's not my kind of place. A bit tacky. A western-built plastic city with some harsh conditions for workers.

However, I do appreciate that at least some places in the middle east are making an effort to be more open and not rely on oil as their only source of income. In that regard it's good news about Dubai.

Dubai's rank is only set to increase. It's geography is simply too central.
