Only 3/4 countries developed such engines and recent high altitude tests in Russia are total success. The marine version is certified by navy for naval uses. Railway wants it for engine.

Actually there are 2 projects...one is with the Snecma-GTRE Kaveri ECO with the Snecma core and the Kaveri MK2 with the K11/K 10 core. We still dont know what is actually going on.

If the news is true, it means MK2 is not far away.. But i seriously think it should be true as so much money and time has been spent on this project so it must have developed enough knowledge base and resources to push kaveri till at-least 90
