Dragon’s Familiar Dance (Prof warns that China might invade India again)

Even without a war, I suspect China will thus withdraw from the global economy before the end of the 21st century.

Haha it is certainly possible, if we go by history.

It would be a dream to be totally self-reliant (economically), so we won't ever have to nose into other parts of the world.

how can we provide proof if it is in enemy country, you should give us a proof that they are not there

Lol... its our territory... and its india making stupid accusations n we have to provide proof?

Thekedar ho tum ? we are under no such obligation.

I am guessing you either don't know Vietnam well enough or you find it hard to stomach the fact that you are working with a communist country. Now lets see how long it will last before another word about we are the biggest democracy and communists are bad posts come up on this forum:lol:

Threats? judging by the rate these types of media come out followed by some more of your empty chest thumping, I'd say more than just a threat. It explains why China doesn't pay attention to Indian threats in the manner India does to its neighbours.

USA cannot be described as a threat because we are too economically intertwined neither is Russia our political partner. Does it not intrigue you that North Korea is still North Korea today? Funny you are telling us that Taiwan is a threat, I wonder why it is not us who is seeking to buy F16's and anti air missiles only to get turned down by the U.S.

Let me make it easier for you to understand. Only the weak would yap about so and so being a threat and seek military allies to help counter such threats. Not the case with the strong ones

Come on man, i didnt even bother to read your post after the first two lines :) I stated media reports just to prove you wrong of
no reports on India. I also told you the reason of our media's attention on Pakistan and China. Just that simple :)
Keep it short bro, dont wanna read all that.

Kashmir is a internal matter for Pakistan and India to resolve even Obama said so as did the Brits nobody will pressure India in this.

"We regret the loss of life in this incident. It is an internal Indian matter. We respect the efforts of the Government of India to investigate and resolve the current situation in Kashmir," State Department spokesman Mark Toner told a news agency, adding, US always encouraged India and Pakistan to resolve all its differences through dialogue

The only superpower said it is internal matter that is end of case

You don't get it. This thing about China "competing" with other nations is probably just a passing phase in Chinese history. The pendulum may soon swing back and Chinese leaders decide they don't have to "compete" with anybody, just go back to their old pattern of dominating the neighbors and ignoring the rest. Even without a war, I suspect China will thus withdraw from the global economy before the end of the 21st century.

sorry for using the word competing,i meant to say be an economic, technologically equal to usa
war with india is not a piece of cake,if it was china wouldnt have drawn back from arunachal pradesh in 62 and the situation now is that even though china is super powerful india is also powerful to defend the country

yes you have to give proof to prove its wrong, how can we give proof other than intelligence agency information since both the countries are enemies of india

that is first an American supporting China... i guess a chinese origin person ...

keep this thing in mind... even if china wants to dominate india militarily its not possible.. we have uninterpreted supply of Man and Machine ... we can go on fighting till the Chinese wants us to ... we will fight for our land not for a foreign territory ... its china where now with population growth rate is dropping close to zero should be worried about fighting India in an all out war ...

2 things. You didnt tell me your age.:) And as far your URL goes. This is the very reason i asked you to include CHina spectrum for India and not just Indo-Pak scenario. Dont read Pakistani sources try to have a more neutral approach.

thts wierd man.[/QUOTE] Come on th...gvDpAQ&usg=AFQjCNHBEvDW1XkWmuI4zDtk8swq_C4deQ

Even now KASHMIR case is in UN and is disputed.

You are absolutely right that Kashmir is disputed. But the UN resolution of plebisicte is not binding on India. There has to be
another solution, no plebiscite.

You can and will only prove me wrong in your dreams my friend. We know India and its media all too well and it plays a huge role on your people's mindset. Comparing the ratio of hyped up "don't attempt to bully me or I will hit you back" stories about China and Pakistan alone is enough to expose India's long standing fear and insecurities. So bad that they are willing to work with another "communist" country to try and solve :)

Come on now, you are acting abnormally man. Why so serious. Try to have a debate with a cool head. You had said no Chinese
media reports on India, so i just posted some reports. Whats there to be angry about.?? I take back my words and will not
say i proved you wrong. Also, i gave you the reason for Indian media's reports. Why so serious :) We are always having a light
debate, just have fun man.

P.S= Chinese Dragon you thanked him on this post. Come on man.

Still need to go out and know what others are doing every now and then, keeping up to date is the only way to prevent from falling behind. I think the media technologies will help us alot in that, even if we don't have to be physically in someplace to know what is happening to it.

Ok, all chinese can stop with their chest thumping - the purpose of the author's article was to caution the government and its agencies to prevent a military rout again. I'm sure if something like this is in open space and we all are debating about it, so does the Ministry of Defence, RA&W and PMO.

no modern day pakistan in 2000bc,pakistan is hindu land stolen by invader muslims

At least all modern Pakistanis are just happy to be Muslims, and they don't want to be Hindus anymore.

Then just let them be as they are descendants of the people who live in this land for many thousands years.

Thanks for your post, good points again.

Actually China's global competition is a perceived phenomenon as too much vacuum was left internationally due to develop world's own wrongdoings. It was was never in their plans; militarily or economically. Competing with Top dogs is an eye wash/thrust upon flattery bestowed to them but containing neighbours is their only desire and intention.

You're right.

What I meant is that we should try our best not to interfere when it is not necessary, as opposed to what all the previous great powers have done.
