Indians should stop trumpeting their weaponry a moment and think: China doesn't necessarily need to "win" a conflict militarily to achieve its political ends. The battle itself may be just as important to the leadership if they can portray it the way they want to the Chinese people. The pendulum may soon swing back and Chinese leaders decide they don't have to "compete" with anybody, just go back to their old pattern of dominating the neighbors and ignoring the rest.
