No. Only some. As a Shia friend said. Shias are Shias because they are Muslims. That should clear it. Any sect that relies on abuse gets it back in one form or another.

Qadianis (Ahmediyas) are not Muslims. Not to be confused with Shias.

Dr Ali Haider was a pride of Pakistan, and was a role model for so many. Always had a smile on his face, an utter professional..
Dr Ali Haider was around 47, and he was superfit and youthful. He would have served the nation for another 25 years or so! People loved him!

Target killings now in Lahore as well...and isn't Zahoor Elahi road the place where Chaudhary brothers have a house?

Maybe some extortion group was behind this killing, perhaps the doctor had a clinic and there was extortion money being demanded?

Dr. Syed Ali Haider was the only son of Professor Zafar Haider and Professor Tahira Bokhari, and the son-in-law of Professor Iftikhar Ali Raja. He graduated from King Edward Medical College in 1987 and proceeded to the UK to complete his FRCS in Ophthalmology. He returned to serve the people of Pakistan and rose quickly to become a Professor of Ophthalmology. He was the General Secretary of the Vitreo-Retinal society, a special interest group of the Opthalmological Society of Pakistan.

Dr. Syed Ali Haider was a gentleman, through and through. He came from a very learned family and was himself a scholar in many areas. He was an avid photographer, and appreciated the fine arts deeply. He took great interest in farming in his ancestral lands, and was a very simple and elegant man in daily life. He was soft spoken, and was able to speak intelligently on just about any subject.

He is survived by his wife, a teenaged son and a six month old daughter. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, relatives, and thousands of patients. May he rest in peace, and may his killers burn in hell for all eternity.
