US ships crashed into each other and just a couple of days ago one caught a fire, but it doesn't mean Indians can build better ships, but can Indian build any ships at all by itself?
China is the world biggest shipbuilder, I don't know India's ranking, can you tell me?

Yes India can build destroyers, frigates even Aircraft Carrier (even aircraft for AC). Still we don't need to steal someone else technology.

And I am pointing to someone else posting accident of Indian Navy so that was my simple reply to him.

We all know how much those ship are indeed indigenous, don't try to fool yourself, and it takes forever for those ships with parts from all over the world to be assembled together in India.

We also have domestic engines fitted on our planes and with a year or two, all planes will be fittest with Chinese domestic engines. China is the world second biggest weapon builder only after US, so India is not even comparable with China when it comes to defence industries.

In china, size of destroyers keep on increasing so as numbers but not technology. On the other hand, Indian destroyers evolve with each ships.

Many such surveys comes and go. We are on right path. No such shitty survey can determine right thing. We are transforming. This phase is a phase of turbulence for couple of years till the measures we have taken starts showing its results.
