Don't mix terrorism and refugees, says EU official

If you assert something, show the data.

So,according to you, there are no illegal immigrants from North Africa,ME,Albania in Western countries ? For the rest ,you can see that altough Romanians there legally are double the number of Morrocans, they don't have a x2 factor in crime stats.

No. Where did I say or suggest that there are no illegal immigrants in Western countries?

Still, numerically and proportionally, the Romanians often remain the largest group in many crime categories, irrespective of their underrepresentation in relation to their presence in the Italian population. Still, not all Algerian and Moroccan immigrants are not categorically illegal, and Romanians categorically legal immigrants. No reason for 'holier than thou' chest pounding there. Also explained were the particular peculiarities of the manner of registration of crimes in Sweden. Comparative statistics are alway tricky due to the presence of difference in definitions, registration and meaning in the national statistics.

i amended the previous post. i would rather have refugees here than Romanian's (no offence but i know you will)
i actually met a refugee, dont know of which decent. there was a old lady with heavy bags going up the street, he (the refugee) was close behind going up in the same direction as i was on the opposite side of road doing downwards. he approached her and offered to take the bags up the street for her and she agreed. i would have assume he was only her in the uk for no more than about a few months. where as well established eastern europeans have never done that, or at least i have never seen them do that. want to know why they dont do that? there to busy carrying up booze up the street which they got on sale at aldi. note that i said eastern europeans not Romanians, we have polish, Lithuanians and among others. i hear Romanians more often than others as they end up in the papers more.

lol, got anymore sweet stories like that?

oh come on, no jolly lad from Rotherham ever helped a poor old lady?
hehehe thats rotherham. i can say Sweden is a rape capital of the world but its only a few who rape people. Sweden is a nice country never the less. i went to rotherham about a year ago, i admit its crap down there.

Of the West. (Lesotho in Southern Africa is the rape capital of the world). Please note that this is at least in part a fluke due to how rape is registered/measured in Sweden.

Police procedures and legal definitions vary widely across countries. Consider:
  • Sweden reformed its sex crime legislation and made the legal definition of rape much wider in 2005, which largely explains a significant increase in the number of reported rapes in the ten-year period of 2004-2013.
  • The Swedish police also record each instance of sexual violence in every case separately, leading to an inflated number of cases compared to other countries. (For instance, when a woman comes to the police and she says 'my husband or my fiance raped me almost every day during the last year', then the police have to record each of these events seperately, which might be more than 300 events. In many other countries it would just be one record - one victim, one type of crime, one record.")
  • Additionally, the Swedish police have improved the handling of rape cases, in an effort to increase the number of crimes reported.
See also Is Sweden now the rape capital of the world? No. : europe

As everyone who has ever studied criminology knows, in the case of rape, there is insane latency rates. If there is willingness to report rape, the number will skyrocket in any country. In countries where rape remains associated with a strong taboo and a high level of shame, the propensity to report such offences probably tends to be lower than in countries characterized by a higher level of sexual equality. The findings of the 2000 International Crime Victims Survey indicate that the respondents' satisfaction with the police is above average in Sweden. Sweden has also been ranked number one in sexual equality. Go figure.

How did you knew that he was a refugee ? What you described is common in Turkey. Maybe a Turkish guy living in UK ?
