Don't mess with us, even Trump would not dare to do that: Chinese media to India

@Raul_AD

India wants to bargain with China?

Ok.

Who is more stronger of the two?

India is no UNSC member, nor it will be as long as China is able to VETO India's entry.

India's NSG entry at Chinese mercy.

India is addict as are others who are hooked up on Chinese merchandise which is cheaper than their own production cost.

India's 3rd largest export of pharmaceutical is held hostage by China.

Solar panels:

Import of solar panels triples in 2015-16 | Business Line

And there is much more...

India has no class against China which these lame brained right wingers here do not comprehend.

The bad news for China is some Indians are actually capable of thinking rationally,
The good news is there are no many Indians who can think like you.

.
The nation is never a powerful nation without its economy.
Just by having more nukes, Russia can not be said to be more powerful than China.
Both are UNSC members.

You overlooked the definition of superpower or you know nothing of:

Undermining China because you are naive?

Perhaps you meant Underestimating or may be "Misunderestimating".

My point was that you are severely underestimating the power of market and current economic scenario. A country may be strong in every sense of word but that strength may become a liability in a given situation. I guess it is pointless to repeat the narrative.

.
Yes it is a hypothetical scenario because there is no evidence that suggests China is in a situation to arbitrarily raise prices in the current market.

It is their merchandise, they CAN raise the price in a retaliation mode, and that is a situation which warrants retaliation among other items because economic juggernaut China does not care about India if it came to Pharma prices.

.
Indians lost HK visa on arrival privileges...

Tomorrow the solar panel prices for GOI may shoot up.

So will be active ingredients/molecules of medicines that India imports from China (85%)

List will go on....Cause China is superpower of manufactured merchandise = Walmart of the world.

who are you then ?

Your narrative is described in general sense, but you forgot we are talking of Walmart of the world China.
The economy dynamics are different for different nations. There are trade disputes, protection issue, trade war, retaliations on tariff & what not.

Ever run a business or seen a business run? You never mess your sales, especially when you are seeing signs of recession in the world and are wary of sales tanking. If anything China will like to sell as much as wares as they can to anyone willing to buy. Clears the wares off their books and warehouses.

So you have no sources to back you claim that China may increase prices of Solar panels or active ingredients.

Well, let me tell you about a nation which is actually very very powerful, perhaps more powerful than China but is in a deep shit right now. That nation is Russia and when shit hits the fan as it did for Russia after sanctions imposed on them, she had to bend over back to sell her oil and gas to whom so ever is going to buy, it was not able to dictate the price. Military might is not enough to corner the market.

Factories and excess production capacity are actually liability when there is excess production and low demand. Looking at the protectionist policies of Trump and rest of the world, we are heading into that direction and that way lies a Buyer's market.

@waz @WAJsal @Zaki You may want to look at rules violation by this gentleman. Rules : Personal Attack.

Why you are reporting me for nothing?

Walmart also does not stop anyone from buying even if they abuse their CEO.

I am sure you are aware of rules of this forum. It explicitly forbids personal attacks.

Countries run their business in a different manner than corporations.
Countries retaliate, corporates dont.
International trade/business is totally different from your neighborhood grocery shop which does not know of WTO.
Nations are bound with WTO, not companies.

Walmart is a non governmental entity.

What was the personal attack here?

The commies are increasingly behaving like their neurotic neighbor North Korea. Probable side effects of tying their coat tails with neurotic terrorist sponsoring countries.

When you are weaker nation of the two, you hardly have any leverage to bargain.
However there are ways to tackle issues.
But direct confrontation with China is certainly not one.

India has maintained a massive purchase of solar panels regularly from China. So is the case for Pharma imports.
Something that has been happening since years till now.

You call this hypothetical scenario?

Why I am here to lock horns with a thumb sucking toddler?

If the post count is this forum is treated as a toddler, the moderator or think tank of the forum can be PM of this country...

What is wrong with you mate...Got some issue with India or anything else going on???

Something is wrong with the posters who replied you in this post, if you follow his post, his posts are highly critical of anything good about India...

Yes they do retaliate but when they have the margin to retaliate. Simply put it is contextual. In a global context when you see global protectionism and possible recession they do not, especially when their own money is at stake as it is incase of all major Chinese firms being owned by the government. They may retaliate at a later stage or on a different forum.

Oh I am well aware, about time the forum moderators are also made aware of rule violations done by the gentleman. It is their forum after all.

Oh for following you reported me:

Why I am here to lock horns with a thumb sucking toddler?

I am asking question to myself without directing my statement to anyone.
How is this a rules violation?

You could have ignored me if you did not like it.
But once you stand to lose the arguments you retaliate.

Now its my time to ignore you.
next!
