Why not? Good move.
China is a superpower they don’t need anybody.

To be very honest... Trump is the most unpredictable and UNRELIABLE PERSON... On top of that he is US PRESIDENT... So, don't take his TWEETS or WORDS TOO SERIOUSLY...

Bcs cut off ties wt CN still can not solve the problems, factories will still not go back to US due to super high labor cost.

Thats why Obama offered TPP deal that use VN as manufacturing hub for the bloc cos he knows the factories never return to US in any cases

Btw, Trump seem also admit his fault when cancelling TPP,making US-JP's factories still stay in CN, so US-JP ran out of PPE during the pademic ( it wouldn't happen if PPE factories move to VN), so Trump still keep low to zero tariff to real made in VN products .

I can’t say for 100% sure, but I think Joe will be very friendly towards Vietnam.

IMO, Trump is not the good President for US ppl. He blames Obama for lack of PPE, test kits. But if Trump didn't cancelled TPP deal, then PPE factories already moved from CN to VN and all US doctors would have enough PPE now.

US ppl made a very big mistake when letting Trump won the election, just hope they will not make mistake again.
