Don’t Send Us Back, Pakistani Girls Appeal

At some parts of India , Christians tried to convert poor hindus by luring them for better life after conversion and hence it was backlash. We don't pass blasphemy laws which allows only one way conversions. So locals sometimes gets agitated and draws inspirations from your blasphemy laws.

But irony is this that Hindu population in Pakistan detoriated to 2% from 23% but here in India muslims population percentage contribution keept on increasin to 16% from 9% .:lol:That tells you volumes about whole different but real story.

How did this pill tasted , do tell me.

Taste his own medicine ?? ...Its ironic since your the one who started this....Your the Shining example of Intolerance in this forum.

You mean fair and balanced coverage, not the propaganda you prefer.

Sure. Any unfavorable news is "propaganda".

That is nothing compared to the media black out you impose on places like Balochistan or your restive Tribal areas.Foreign journalists still travel to Kashmir with out police escorts and still report what they see.Only region near LOC has such restriction.

Never mind foreign journos. Even Indian ones can't speak the truth.

Censorship of Media in Kashmir

BHOPAL: July 10, 2010: “All India Secular Forum” has criticised the censorship imposed by the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

Yes, I know, this is just "sickular" "propaganda"...

Black listed for violating the law will be correct.

Already covered. No one's buying that excuse.

If the media in Kashmir wasn't free the news of the mass graves would never have come out in the open.

The documentary that journeyman pictures made about the killings of kashmir would never have been made.

N number of Indian and foreign institution have held opinion polls in Kashmir asking them whether they want freedom or not whose results ( unfavourable to India) were made public.

Which country allows foreign journos to go into an area with a separatist movements and make documentaries about it ?>

Which country allows local and foreign journos to visit a separatist area and hold opinion polls over there whose results don't favour India ? Check the Chatham house poll of UK. check the Hindustan time kashmir poll.

Will Pakistan ever allow such a poll in Balochistan ? I have my massive doubts

Try to take off your green lens of hatred for India and look at things objectively.

Also, reply to my entire post and not just pick quotes selectively that you wish to reply to.

Just because some news leaks out does not mean there is full freedom of press. Indian jounrnalists themselves attested to that.

The claim was about India's press freedom and a reality check.
India is at #140, better than Pakistan by #159, but not by much.

I'll reply to the relevant parts, not a soliloquy.

P.S. Press Freedom Index 2013 - Reporters Without Borders

As usual you evaded all the points I made. Your target was Indian media freedom in Kashmir and I pointed out examples to you which you could not respond to and selectively quoted only those parts you wanted to answer.

You didn't answer the part of the opinion polls , you didn't answer the part about documentaries. Not very clever .

Also, yes Indian media is more free than Pakistani media and even the Chinese media. Thanks for proving my point.

btw - 19 positions is quite a bit.

If srilankan aren't willing then India should extent asylum to these brave girls and her family.

we didnt provide asylum to pakistani hiindus who came to india and are denying to go back , now u expect the govt to give asylum to pakistani muslims???

7 jurnos killed in Pakistan only in 2012.Can you ever imagine that in India ??

Journalists Killed in 2012 - Committee to Protect Journalists

52 journalists since 92 compared to 17 confirmed deaths in India in same time frame.
http://www.cpj.org/killed/asia/india/murder.php

http://www.cpj.org/killed/asia/pakistan/

Point to note is India has 6 times pak's population and thus greater size of media and journalists but still less deaths.

Sure. Any unfavorable news is "propaganda".

Many are.

Old news,You will never say the threat the reporters face from insurgents funded by your Govt. That is also a form of propaganda.

Already covered. No one's buying that excuse.

I doubt that. Its just your perspective owing to your anti Indian attitude.

As usual you evaded all the points I made.

I rejected your attempt to shift the discussion to Baluchistan, and I showed that your isolated data points were irrelevant in the larger context. I quoted the Indian media's own complaints to that effect.

The Indian claim was that India is a beacon of freedom of speech, and I showed that it is a long way from it: 140 steps.

Its just your perspective owing to your anti Indian attitude.

Never mind my perspective. I gave the rankings on press freedom from a neutral source above.
