Does Sri Lanka need a Bridge link between India and Sri Lanka? NO! But India does

OK, you seem to be be hitting the typical cruise trajectory of defence forum troll by repeating the same inane content again....trying to juxtapose TN political desire for war crime probes with a bridge linking project. :what:

And you are totally inconsistent with what the bridge represents. Some posts you claim its a bridge to the whole of India (disease ridden hordes etc.) and at other times just TN (which has no disease ridden hordes if you look up their socio-economic parameters regarding health etc).

Amusing line of argument from you to say the least.

I think we have both said our pieces. Lets wait and see what materialises. ;)

You are free to keep venting here while everything at govt level and people-people level moves to the next level smoothly.

Have fun!

Look at the Tamil bigots that run Toilet Nadu. Why in the world would Sri Lankans want a highway to that $hit hole. Last I checked, Tamil Nadu was a part of India.

The 2013 Tamil Nadu Assembly Resolution on Sri Lanka is a resolution passed by the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Council on March 27, 2013 mainly urging the Indian Government to slap economic sanctions on Sri Lanka and demand for the formation of a separate state for the Tamils of Sri Lanka.

The resolution which was proposed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha was unanimously passed at the Assembly. The resolution was passed following the debate in the Council regarding the ongoing statewide students protests in Tamil Nadu.

The resolution demanded the formation of a separate state in Sri Lanka, through the means of a referendum by a resolution at the UN Security Council which should be conducted among Tamils in Sri Lanka and other displaced Tamils across the world.

Moving the resolution, Jayalalithaa said the ongoing students protest was reflective of her government's initiative on the Sri Lankan issue even as she requested them to withdraw the stir and resume classes.

The resolution also called on the Indian Government to stop considering Sri Lanka as a 'friendly country' and impose economic sanctions, as well as calling for an international inquiry in "genocide and war crimes" against Sri Lankan Tamils.

Are you really from Srilanka ?

Do you remember your prime minsters first ever visit is to India and not any other country ? Dont forget that your country is being ruled by some declared criminals of Tamilnad. Do you know who is douglas devananda?

I also dont understand why people claim Tamils were cooli labours brought from India to Srilankan Tea estates. Srilanka was ruled by Tamil kings for many years.

And boss do you know whats the GDP of Chennai Alone and whats the GDP of Srilanka? What makes you to think tamilnad is so bad. I personally request you to visit Tamilnad Or Chennai atleast !

How many Sri Lankan are here who are opposing this link?
How many Indians or Tamils are here on PDF who are opposing this link?
India need this bridge to deepen relationship with Sri Lanka, so does Sri Lanka.
You should know that too much Sri Lankan visits India & number may be higher than Indian visiting Sri Lanka.
All of religious sites for Sri Lankans are in India because most of Sri Lankans are Buddhists & all of major Buddhist sites are in India except Lumbini which is in Nepal.
If any disease can go to Sri Lanka via this bridge than Sri Lanka can't stop that when that will come via airways.

India is largest trade partner of Sri Lanka, if this bridge built this will increase many times.
Indians spent most money when they go for tourism, Mauritius, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand & UAE receive too much Indian tourists & this bride can boost tourism sector of Sri Lanka.

If Pakistan has courage & power to stop this, you are free to this.

There is no point in building this bridge.. Sethu samudram canal project is more important from the TN development pov, southern districts will get a huge boost if tuticorin becomes a major port like chennai/colombo after this project gets compeleted.

Northern tamil nadu has developed chennai, west has coimbatore and tirupur which already over took chennai in revenue, only south needs a desperate boost. Sethu samudram canal project is the way forward for our development, tuticorin has the potential to match singapore port after this project.
