@FaujHistorian is right.Israel is here now. And it is a country capable of defending itself. It has nuclear weapons which means that if someone destroys Israel, they will nuke the entire Arab world and turn it to glass.

So the only question now worth asking is - what should be done going forward. One state or two state, and what boundaries.

Well they did live there? Who asked the Arabs to attack in 1963 ? They could have accepted and welcomed them? But they did not? Look there are arguments and counter arguments. The reality of the matter is it exists. Quesiton to be answered is how to make this a respectable, tenable and prosperous situation for the Palestinians.
