There is an easy way to bake cakes. Instant cake mixes are available in the market. All you have to do is add water, a little butter or oil, eggs, mix it and put it in an oven.
You can use all kinds of things as oven..Microwaves, electric ovens, gas ovens, even rice cookers.

I have seen English people are quiet good in baking or making bakery products while we are good in cooking

I did taught one white girl how to cook chicken curry and she made cake for me which was like cooked by some professional

Once I met this Parsi girl who had made some cup cakes for me. She said she made them herself. They were awesome. I was having one, when I saw the wrapper had a bakery named, with address and phone number written over it.
She immediately understood what I was thinking, and was quick to point out her family own the bakery and she used the supplies from there, but baked herself only

Well anyone who do not likes cooking have no right to like or even eat the food!
Cooking is so much fun, i get to it whenever i can find some time. Surely mom is responsible/in charge for regular meals but i will try my skills whenever i get a chance to and love doing it, at least i love doing it cant say about rest of the family

The best Arab-Turkish fusion in terms of Kebab.

I could personally eat it at least 2 times each week if not more, lol.

I have never heard about Konak Kebabi. May I ask from which region it is in Turkey and how it differs from Adana Kebab? Turks in general make great Kebabs.

I can also cook Adana, it is an easy one but needs a lot of time and patience.
If possible, I would eat a well spicy Adana everyday
I don't know what region but looks Eastern-Marmara or Western-Central region, how it differs? For Adana, you use minced meat and cook it on Mangal (Turkish style-barbecue) and Konak Kebabi you use meat cubes and cook it on cooking pot, you have to cook it with vegetables and spieces then locate this mixture on 'gigantic' fried-eggplant slices then cover it with extra-buttered and milked smashed patato and on top use some Kaşar cheese and oven it until chesee melts and takes a brownish color on top then that's it

I enjoy cooking from time to time. I don't cook regularly, but usually on weekends..
Today, I'm baking a chocolate cake for myself
Now I'm using this new oven for the first time, don't know what the outcome is going to be. I hope it turns up well.

i love cooking. but my skill is limited.
i can cook : Egg, chicken, Goat, lamb but mainly curries and a few types of kababs
Even some complex dishes like Sweets. based on Meat and Egg.
Zero knowledge about baking and tandoor based items.
trying hard to make biriyani/pulao since last few years but not able to get the exact taste and texture i want.
basic barbque skill.
can not make round chaopati/roti etc even to save life!
sucks at cooking veg dishes.
can make kulfi/icecreams, suace ( mayo, honey mustard).Sherbet.

It's not blondes, my aunt is a genuinely nice person and all that, but my cousin she's a spoilt brat and that coming from me is really saying something. And she pisses me off so much that I once genuinely thought of pushing her onto oncoming traffic.

I can't cook anything, except for chai and green tea. French fries and sandwich. LOL, interested but never had the time to or needed to. There is a traditional bread(i read earlier you were interested in baking, hope i am not wrong) of GB, my mother makes it almost everyday. That bread with tea, nothing beats that. Better yet that bread with namkeen chai.

yes sir i love to eat good food and also love to cook ocassionalli and can make any type of food be it punjabi , marwari , rajasthani or south indian or even chinese but baking i dont know

Most of the men who said they can cook on this thread were mostly in their late 20s or above.
