What's new

Do you consider Pakistan to be a Middle-Eastern nation?

Middle east is a term created for political purposes. It's not geographic term in real sense.. south baluchistan is west asia.

Urdu is a lingua franca. How can you borrow a national language of two other countries and make it your lingua franca.. as far farsi being used here there were other languages in use here before farsi. We need our own identity. Not get lumped into iranian or indian poles of influence.

Ok we are middle eastern..
Dude it's a geopolitical term. The term only became associated to arab culture in west.
In 1902 the term “Middle East” was coined in order to designate the area residing between Egypt and Singapore,

Urdu was born in lahore ghaznavid era.

Correct about the term middle east and it encompasses west Asia and North East Africa but its more widely used term than West Asia.

As for my statement about Dari being the national language, its just my wishful thinking so that we had zero connection with our Eastern neighbour.

So can i count you in among people that would support in making the badeshi the National language of Pakistan?

Where do aryans come from? Iran Afghanistan?? No
Their origin is a remote Russia steppe region they gradually migrated south mixed with locals and made new people.
Now I'm sure you are not sh!t white or pinkish like a russian. Definitely a tinge of tan but where did u get that tone from? Why not get your dna done to learn. There is a reason we have terms indo aryan and indo iranic. Those Iranians afghans calling themselves pure aryan are idiots and just superimposing they are more pure aryan than you wrt to features otherwise they are all mix many also have semetic or afro dna markers. To differentiate from indo aryan we have the term indo iranic. However we all know iranic is synonymous to aryan and same thing...but in essence it signifies more on linguistic lines and sperates people geographically. so even if u call urself aryan ur actually an INDO-iranic.

INDO is a Greek term used for region of sindh and indus river. It doesnt mean indian as pertaining to country 'India' so chillax

When I say Aryan, I mean Aryan, no Indo. You can speak for yourself, but give me the right to speak for myself.
I got plenty of people in my family with blonde hair and blue eyes, genuine not damn lenses.

Fellows seriously, use your analytical minds a little bit. Roman Empire was formed in 27 BC which is more than 2000 Years ago. Then when the Roman Empire dissolved, its eastern wing called the Eastern Roman Empire was formed in 330 AD . The various nationalities who settled in Pakistan area over thousands of years DID NOT JUST PICKED UP AND LEFT. THEY ARE STILL HERE ! That is why Pakistan nation has diverse DNA pool. Greek, Turkish, Persian, Aryan, European, Central Asian, and so on.

THAT IS WHY PAKISTAN PEOPLE ARE NOT INDIAN FOR F* SAKE - WAKE UP.

No. I think we have been mind controlled from foreign civilizations for a long time and we keep trying to impress whoever is in fashion, be India, Arabia, Iran, Britain etc..and keep trying to tag along. I never seen Pakistanis talk so much about foreign history and act like they own it

I remember once a Pakistani was talking about Arab history with a lot of familiarity and the arab guy was just like ermm, probably wondering which part of the world this guy was in during that time

Pakistan is in the middle east hence they have nothing to do with Indians. I knew it.

IMO the terms "Middle East" and so on are Western-centric. They're all antiquated ideas of categorizing the world based on how the imperial powers organized colonies.

We shouldn't look at the world in such a manner.

Rather, I think the world is much, much more diverse and varied.

So, within this so-called "Middle East" you have the Levant, the Arabic Peninsula, Anatolia, and so on. These lands have different peoples and cultures. Even within Pakistan there is a lot of diversity, so the idea of grouping and categorizing doesn't mean much IMHO.

Why do you try so hard to associate yourselves with Pakistanis? Even your country is named after their river.

Which aryan are you hellenic aryan? Scandinavian arian? Eurasian Arian?

Yes, most definitely a middle eastern country. Going by the language, food, geographic location and sporting preferences - I think that it is a natural fit :-)

I have no problem voting for any local language as national language .infact I started a poll here sometime back for a 2nd language Pakistan should opt. Unfortunately mostly opted for arabic followed by English. Now look at this thread and some of the response here .typical not-so-comfortable in their own skin.

. .
Lol at the last part, so no local Pak language?

Honestly I wouldn't have mind making Dari national instead of Urdu

But I guess it's too late for something like that to happen now, but if our relationship with Iran improves to the point where we become very close Allies

Maybe just maybe I can see hope for Dari in Paksitan
Do you need to have a single national language?
India has 22 official languages but no national language. Officially, Hindi is at par with Tamil, Telugu etc.

We are not trying to associate ourselves with anybody. Our identity has been clear to us and unchanging since thousands of years. It is this new kid on the block which is trying to determine its identity on the globe.
