They have obsession bro, they dont think about there own problem, rather than there more focus is on INDIAN problems. I think thats good for us, sometimes we are bit biased in finding out our own problems, these BDs people are useful in giving us a reality check.

LoL thankfully most of us aren't that clueless. :D

not sure why bdians are so eager to join india... must be bollywood effect.. :chilli:

Actually they know where they stand vis-a-vis India, but they keep on ranting here out of inferiority complex. Their large poorer population have no such hypocrisy though, so they keep jumping the border to seek better livelihood in India. That's how their government is solving the poverty issue. :)

That country and can go sink in the Bay of Bengal for all I care, but when these little nobodys start their crazy smack talk, acting all smug when they have absolutely ZERO reason to, and refuse to let go of that chip on their shoulders cause of whatever insecurity they live with everyday, they need to be shown who their eternal daddy is. :)

@Bilal9 please don't waste your time with Indians. Instead there are tons of people in this forum who you can interact with and learn something from about their part of the world and how they think. It adds to your knowledge. We already know what India and Indians are about and Indians already know everything they want to know about Bangladesh.

@Bilal9 - We are a low income developing country of 1.2 billion people. A fact. It's also a fact that we have taken some taken giant strides in the last 2 decades or so as far as sustainable economic development is concerned. Things are not as bad as you make it sound. Of course there is still a lot to be achieved but you can feel the changes at the root level from agriculture to infrastructure to technology. The living conditions have improved. Literacy rate has improved. Government is undertaking a lot of infrastructural projects across the nation. It's also a fact that for some projects we have to rely on foreign tech because since we don't have enough technological know-how but which country doesn't. Even US relies on foreign tech. It's also a fact that we have been learning and undertaking proper capacity building simultaneously and it's part of the development plan.
Yes, we are still years behind China and frankly speaking there is no competition but that doesn't belittle our own achievements. We may not stand against Chinese competition but we are proud of our accomplishments. DMRC has won a lot of accolades already and i believe is competent enough for providing consultation to other cities. Having said that, BD can choose whatever she wants, it's her prerogative. What BD can't take away from us is our progress. There is still whole lot of work left, but we are on the right path. Peace.

Hey, chill. Slum dog Millionaire told us everything.

It looks like bilal9's poor comprehension skills and awful reasoning led to his being majorly butt hurt. Can't help him there.

The bongolodesheeeees remain defiant in their endeavour to argue with their masters; well, humour them a little, and then watch them be proven wrong each time with their absurd notions and madrasah-like logic. :)

First sane reply I have seen from a mature Indian poster not given to jingoism. Mashallah Kudos! I appreciate and reciprocate your practical sentiments...

Loopholes in Mumbai metro an example of failed PPP model
The first day of monsoon in Mumbai not only exposed the ill-preparation on the part of civic authorities, but also highlighted the poor condition of recently launched metro service in the city. As the showers lashed the city on Wednesday, photos and videos showing water leakage at different places inside metro stations including train compartments went viral on social networking sites.

The incident was reported in Ghatkopar-bound metro train where rainwater started leaking from the AC ducts inside the compartment. Though metro staff is holding technical fault responsible for the mess, several other incidents of water-leaking inside metro stations are raising questions on service of metro which was inaugurated with much fanfare on June 8 this year.

A baggage-scanning machine had to be closed off as there was water leaking near it at the Ghatkopar metro station, not only this, water leaking from the roof, even at the concourse level (below the platform) at some spots was reported. This caused problems to commuters who were standing at the platform to board the metro train.

Be it cost or delay: Mumbai metro always hit headlines
The construction of first line of metro began in 2008, and the corridor was supposed to be operational by 2010-end but it missed almost 10 deadlines. Among other reasons for the delay was the unavailability of land for construction of the metro corridor. In addition, unavailability or poor records of underground utilities forced the developer to change the design of the corridor on several occasions, further leading to delays. The time taken in getting various other clearances also contributed to missed deadlines. Apart from the delay of almost 4 years, the cost of the project increased from Rs 2356 crores to Rs 4321 crores. Repeated delays and rising cost of raw material has caused construction cost of the Mumbai metro project to shoot up by 84%.

After going through rough patches, the first phase of the Mumbai metro, the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar line which covers a distance of 11.4 kilometers is operational now but it has pointed to a failed private-public partnership. Its not been even a month and number of issues like Wednesday's water leak or earlier door malfunctions have marred its image. The said issues clearly highlights infrastructural loopholes in Mumbai metro which was an honest attempt to make this financial capital of India a world class city.

Bangladeshi on any street in any city in Bangladesh about 'Indian technology' and see what their disdainful impression is. It won't be positive to say the least. They're very familiar with your products and infrastructure

Really ? You claimed you have 'seen' India and yet claimed that 'Every Maruti is a copy of Suzuki Alto'.

India just got into the game a few years ago on the Urban Rapid transit business. Why is this so hard to understand? Making third rate locos at CLW and DLW doesn't count because these stagnant union-infested PSU's don't produce anything of value when it comes to a modern MRTS or urban rapid transit system.

Ah,here is another gem... Diesel Locomotive Works & Chittaranjan Locomotive Works do not produce any metro rake or EMU for that matter ,but for an imbecile who mistakes a suburban train for a metro rake,I don't expect much.

As I have elaborated already, they are produced at BEML and Bombardiers Vadodara plant

And third rate locomotives ?Look who is talking :omghaha:Check how many countries have developed a 5000HP diesel loco pal.

Meh - color me unimpressed. Sitting in India these look grand because you only started getting these about a decade ago. In the rest of the world people aren't so impressed.
Calling a metro an 'achievement' is rather juvenile. Will the Metro lift Indians out of poverty??

:blah: : Posts like this shows your intellect,Tell me how many Bangladeshis have been lifted out of poverty by your third class Dhaka international airport?

I can't believe the drubbing some of the Jingo-istic Ghoti-bati WB Indians got in this thread - bunch of whiners. Now they ran to the mods complaining so all new posts are being post-approved on this thread.

Chinese Army trucks of course - primarily Tai'an products. BMTF by the way was formed even before BEML came on the scene. Why do we need to support a corrupt company like BEML when we can make our own trucks? For rolling stock the numbers probably don't justify setting up assembly locally unless we export.

BEML was established back in 1969,while BMTF only came in 1979.And FYI Tata Motors have already developed 12 X 12 trucks.

And here is what your BMTF is doing....

Under the deal, BMTF would be looking to assemble the trucks and utility 4×4′s from Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits i

Good news for you, those trains were imported from CSR Nanjing of China, I don't know why Reliance selected CSR Nanjing even though initially six international firms -Siemens, Bombardier, Alstom, Rotem-Hyundai, Chunyun, and Nippon Sharyo were shortlisted to provide rolling stock for the line; it must be the price, there is a reason why many Indians do not have much faith in Anil Ambani's Reliance who are handling the project.

I thought you should know it as you guys want your entire project to be build by China, whenever that is.

No matter what the Bdeshis say, in the end they still need our help to make their metros, and that just digs into their egos hence trolling on everything else beside the issue.
LOL ultimately laut ke budhu ghar ko aaye
