In 2016, DJI had sales of $1.47 billion.

DJI sees jump in revenue | China Daily (December 13, 2016)
"DJI, China's largest commercial drone manufacturer, is confident its revenue this year will surge by 60 percent to 10 billion yuan ($1.47 billion), thanks to the expansion of its production line, according to its vice-president."

For 2017, DJI sales have increased to $2.7 billion.

DJI's jump in yearly revenues stands in stark contrast to GoPro's decision to exit the drone business.

DJI has now crushed two American competitors. 3D Robotics had spent $100 million to compete against DJI. 3D Robotics lost the drone war. GoPro's Karma had no sensors and was never a match for DJI's sensor-laden Mavic Pro.

Behind The Crash Of 3D Robotics, North America's Most Promising Drone Company | Forbes
"Oct 5, 2016 - 3D Robotics had raised nearly $100 million and wanted to build the perfect consumer drone. That effort nearly destroyed the company."

If no American company emerges to challenge DJI then it could be smooth sailing from here on out. DJI's revenues could keep climbing for years to come.

Canadians in general are too poor to buy drones.

Tag this to who ever doubted Chinese technology. As a matter of fact American company called GoPro had to shut down it's drone division and lay of bunch of people because they couldn't compete, because of our Chinese brothers shut them down.

Another good example is how a Chinese made phone beat the greatest Iphone 10x in speed test? Look up 1+5t vs iPhone x speed test. Also costs half the price.

That's what I'm talking about.. no wonder why they are so worried.

actually, they shut themselves down. gopro was never in competition with dji in drone buisiness. they only sold a few hundreds and most of 'em broke apart and fell down from the sky ( plenty of videos on youtube ). gopro kill themselves with substandard product. dji didn't do anything :D

Exactly my point. See the myth was all of the symptoms you described were supposed to be a Chinese product, Instead they are American.

While the Chinese Product is being described as reliable and world leader. Get it?

Xiaomi has drone? :D
What?
They did drone?
I know Xiaomi has everything though.....from smart light to A/C

I was going to buy a DJI, but then I saw the Xiaomi drone and it was quarter the price and just as capable as the DJI with 4K camera on 3 axis gimbal and most importantly it can be very easily disassembled for traveling something DJI can't do.

Xiaomi do not have diapers
They have a toilet seat :enjoy:

How about the new DJI Mavic Pro or Spark?
