DRDO should be divided into 4 different R&D . Each should be focusing of Different platform like . Not as separate DRDO teams but as big as DRDO itself. ! ! ! And bring in the experienced weapon scientists all around tge world with good pay . Its better than paying billions for the imported weapon system . India will be investing atleast 500 billion for tge armed forces in the future. Future technology will be very very very high price tag.
My proposed plan :-
- Missiles and radar R&D
- Small-Heavy arms for the Armed forces
- Futuristic naval ships and subs technology
- Futuristic Aerospace technology with must involve R&D of Aircrafts and the avionics etc . It should cover the entire air warfare from fighter jets to UCAV
Every one should be reporting to defence Minister and the PM every month . Which must be followed up by the user and report on their observations.
As you know we already have separate DRDO/ADA teams working on different projects . But what I proposed will have entirely separate R&Ds with separate funding and separate goals to achieve. This will improve our quality and productivity . We can expect a great chance to get our weapons on time atleast one project won't be put into coma but works will continue in all projects simultaneously . What do you think about it ? I there any risk involved ? Or it will Give us technological boost .
May be NRI technicians and skilled labours working abroad musts be roped in to weapon programs . The export of weapons will always be accompanied with further development of the product. India already aspire to become a major global player and leader in Asian Rim . Many countries including China use already realised the true potential of becoming a weapon supplier from weapon importer.
Right now china is developing many equipments ranging from small arms to Heavy weapons . From drones to Fifth gen fighter jets . These projects are heavily funded and the technologies are either bought or stolen by hacking the systems.
India must follow chinese model of R&D . Buy or Beg or Steal .
More focus and more fund . For better productivity ...
