Dishonesty about Indian technological development

Innovation is not the Mantra and they aren't here for your high quality brains.

They are here because Bhartiya brains are cheap to hire.

GE and INTEL aren't there in India to elevate Indian science. They're there to use your academicians to get work done cheap.

Thats why there are so many patents coming out of India nowadays. And why the operations so big. It saves money.

Indian people are a bit too gullible sometimes (And self-congratulatory to a fault).

So you accept that it is happening in India now a days. That is great. I like that and I was saying exactly that.

Quite idiotic to see that tiny Indian troll making fun of Walton's R&D capabilities.

Walton's latest product, SpectraQ TV possesses quantum dot plus technology, the newest in global LED technology. While none of the Indian companies could come even close to such technology.

Correction, overall your labour even in FUTURE will be inferior to India's current labour.

Welcome to the non-BBS reality:

Skills of Current Workforce:

BD: 2.18 (rank 130)
IND: 2.82 (104)

Skills of Future Workforce:

BD: 2.47 (rank 122) (Increase of 0.29) (LESS THAN 2.82 OF CURRENT INDIA)
IND: 3.67 (88) (Increase of 0.85)

another kit assembled product. You have zero R&D..

tiny Indian troll making fun of Walton's R&D capabilities.

LMAO as if is Walton is some ISRO or HHV...

Those are PPP FIGURES. And from 2014. Mine are nominal from 2017 IMF figures.

Indians buy products from China at nominal dollars (not PPP)
Indians eat their meals spending nominal dollars (not PPP)
Indians visit Switzerland and spend nominal dollars (not PPP)

Its only when you hit them hard with facts, they sing this irrelevant PPP song to misguide you and favor India to look good.

It does not require a rocket science to understand the deceptive attitude of know-nothing Indian braggers here who want to be one up on you by hook or crook.

Best remedy against that?
Ignore these Google dependent dudes.

Envy what?

That 65% or more of Indians still do their business out in the open?

Or that we've got more ratio of girls vs. Boys in school than India does?

Naw - keep your land of milk and honey to yourself.....

The amount of R&D Bajaj has done in developing a Moped engine, is miles ahead then overall R&D bongladesh has done since its existence.

Good, these Madrasi apes are now willing to defy logic by saying without R&D Walton has produced the newest product in global led TV industry.

Meanwhile, Walton is on its way to expand their R&D capabilities at an unprecedented level.

Walton to set up largest R&D in Asia

It was learnt that more than 400 highly qualified and experienced engineers from home and abroad are employed at the R&D center in Walton Hi-Tech Industries.

On the way of turning its R&D center into the Asia’s largest one, the local brand has already doubled its existing number of engineers during the last couple of months to produce world-class products at affordable price level.

Yes, he wanted to see ppp per capita so I shown him.He perhaps had an idea that it would be 4 times higher. But Not.

our PPP is under counted and Indian are over counted. So both nominal and ppp wise Tamil Nadu is twice rich than Bangladesh.Nothing to cheer about for any Tamil considering that their state is among the best India can offer and a hub of many industries whatever India have.

I never said it, but it is generally about 2.8 times now.

No one believes a Bangladeshi claim- largest in Asia ? Oh please..

And when did Walton claim that they developed this technology ? That is the forte of large MNCs such as Samsung.

I would be really, really surprised if your much vaunted walton does as much R&D as as much as SMEs like Data Patterns & Alpha Design Technologies (both of which are based in Madrasi Bangaluru )

And here is a report from your own media...

Industry statistics show roughly 29.3 million mobile phones were imported in the country during the past year, the total sales value of which is around Tk 85 billion.

The statistics available with Bangladesh Mobile Phone Importers Association indicate an increase by around Tk 15.8 billion in terms of sales value from 2015, when more than 27.6 million cellphones were imported into the country for around Tk 69.26 billion.

Local brand Walton which assembles its handsets in China claimed 5.0 per cent share in the market

Here are the members of 'Bangladesh Mobile Phone Importers Association'. Yes, your walton is there too...@Nilgiri here goes the claim of local production.

http://www.bmpia.org/?page=member_list

Also, read this...

These lot do provide a good laugh when they say license raj blah blah. They dont even bother to check where Bangladesh lies in the global innovation index, esp such parameters as ISO certification %:

ISO 9001 quality certificates/bn PPP$ GDP:
BD: 0.8
PAK: 2.7
IND: 4.5

https://www.globalinnovationindex.org/gii-2017-report

our PPP is under counted and Indian are over counted. So both nominal and ppp wise Tamil Nadu is twice rich than Bangladesh

2.8 & 2 are the same. And having a GDP per capita 2 times bigger(nominal)/ nearly 3 times bigger (PPP) isn't an achievement...any more mathematically challenged arguments ?

Indians eat their meals spending nominal dollars (not PPP)

Funny...very funny. Apparently those noodles might be produced in India.

Its only when you hit them hard with facts, they sing this irrelevant PPP song to misguide you and favor India to look good.

Keep cheerleading....with every BS argument you can find.

http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/fandd/basics/ppp.htm

our PPP is under counted and Indian are over counted.

Proof ?

Gantry or travelling column, no one is buying your machines in Bangladesh

I did a bit of research & it appears that you're lying again...though I don't think any Indian manufacturer would bother much about such a small market @Nilgiri

Another one is textile machinery... We are quite good at spinning machinery with players like LMW. (though kanjoosi market might prefer cheap second hand machinery)

So please, don't come up with BS arguments...

We can calculate Tamil nadu per capita PPP for 2017 by a simple mathmetical exercise.Indian per capita gdp in 2017 is 103,818 rupee and Tamil Nadu is 157,116 Rupee. In 2017, Indian per capita ppp is 7,153 USD

so, Tamil Nadu=157,116/103,818=1.513 times higher than national average.
so, PPP per capita of Tamil Nadu for 2017=1.513x7,153=10,822 USD
Bangladesh ppp per capita in 2017=4,207 USD
so,Tamil Nadu/Bangladesh=2.57, so it is slightly decreased from previous 2.6.But you are projecting to climb at 2.8.
Both Indian and BD per capita ppp is taken from IMF World economic outlook April, 2017 databank.

The difference is so stark when Indians boast about things like these...

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/nuclear-reactor-at-kalpakkam-worlds-envy-indias-pride.504488/

and Bangladeshis boast about manufacturing a compressor for a refrigerator..
Is that a lathe? :DI'm EEE graduate so, I don't know much. TBH the mechanical engineering lab had a better looking machine. I don't know the spec. But I saw a small encoder with a LCD.

I meant South India- remember that there are 3 more states in South India

Yep. That's a center lathe (non CNC)

I don't know the spec. But I saw a small encoder with a LCD.

That might be a conventional lathe with a DRO.

So called brahmos is as indian as is Trump.
lol it is way more indian than jf17 is pakistani . you guys can't even manufacture busses and you are talking about a fighter jet . at best you assemble the aircraft which was entirely designed in china ,spare parts too are manufactured in china . and coming to tejas ,there we have gained experience by designing it from scratch ,so what if we import the engine and a lot of other stuff . you do realize it is way way different than assembling an aircraft and painting it green ,about which you have no knowledge how it was designed , and you go around chest thumping about assemling a fighter jet . even china uses russian engines for most of its fighter jets . now they have developed their own engine. we tried with kaveri and failed ,but we will succeed eventually as along as we keep on trying ,but did you pakistanis ever tried ? what is your counterpart for kaveri ? Even all the electrical and technical works of your metro stations in lahore are being done by a chinese company ,because your unskilled labourers are only capable of doing the civil works and here you are boasting about your so called JV with china to "co-develop" a fighter jet

From what I have seen in SDP Chart, kerala,Karnataka and Telangana per capita gdp is not much different than Tamil Nadu. So,south India in general have 2.5 times per capita ppp than Bangladesh according to official papers. But in reality it would be just twice.Due to under estimation on part of BD.
