Of course, they can, consider some of those investments by Walton have already been made. And you need to check your sources properly, those investments by Apple are at proposal stage, they are not finalized yet.
Depends on the industry, as I mentioned, Walton is an electronics and technology company so R&D is everything for them to expand.
This so called think tank @MilSpec has negatively rated all the posts that exposed the Indian trolls of their blatant lies. While the same 'think tank' has thanked many posts where the Indians have thrown racist remarks and personal attacks. I wonder what's the criteria of being a think tank that such low-grade hypocrites are awarded that title.
Considering your countrymen view that walton is doing $2bn investment in R&D do you know how much turnover they need to reach that level . Let me give you real world example the leading electronics company like samsung invest 6% of there sales revenue in R&D. For time being lets assume walton wants to go in express mode into R&D and spends double the percentage as compared to samsung, to 10% then to reach 2bn$ R&D funding they would need to make sales of $20bn. Thats almost equal to 3 times the sales of Samsung in India which around $7bn. So i guess you are suggesting bangladesh market is 3 times bigger than Indian market.
To go from 400mn to 20bn in 2yrs only a big bangladeshi fart can do it...
Again 400 million US dollars in 2014 to around 2 billion US dollars this year due to massive sales growth over last 3 years - there was around 50% increase in fridge sales in 2015. The company is doing very well in the home appliance market in BD where it totally dominates.
Seriously is maths and economics that hard?
To get to 2bn sales, your fridge sales has to increase 500% and not just mere 50%.
Even if we take your logic of 2bn of turnover then the R&D budget would be at large no more than 200mn$.
Probably some of the biggest Asian R&D house pays more than that for the coffee dispenser and house keeping bills.
Two things:
1.400% increase
2. This is over 3 years(2014-2017)
Please read, process and then type.
Two things
1. Sales has to increase 500% and not increase by
2. BD Electrical and electronics goods market is growing by 15-20% pa. I am not sure how a company that enjoys 80% market share in fridge market can grow over 100% in same segment. Walton can have 3digits growth in segments where it didnt have presence earlier like LED TV etc but same is not true for entire company at large.
Please read, process and then redo ...
forget it above your level
Lol.Your do know you are talking to someone who was top at school class in mathematics?
Anyway you dont want to learn so be it.
Lol.
You can't even write a proper sentence in English.
I'm on my phone too you Muppet.I am on a mobile fool and as long as my
English is understandable that should suffice.
Now, what can you add to this topic my
Indian friend?
You do know you are talking to someone who was top at school class in mathematics?

PS - BD market size is so much larger than 3 years ago, so even if
Walton did not increase market share much, that does not mean that
sales would not increase massively.

Be proud of the fact that you were first in primary school maths. What an awesome achievement lol.
And Stop posting nonsense in this thread
Bravado about your math skill on anonymous defence forum doesn't get you anywhere rather attracts ridicules. Be sure to provide sources to your claim.
None of my countrymen said Walton will invest $2b on R&D, it was the Burmese chap who was comparing Walton with Apple and Samsung, perhaps to seek attention and said Walton must invest that amount. They have already got an R&D facility which has been expanding ever since its establishment in 2005, so don't need to invest such large amount to build it from scratch.
Dig through the thread and understand what's the discussion about and who is arguing what, otherwise you'd just look like a stunted idiot like most of the Indians here.
Who cares what loser Indians think anyway!
Failure of a country after 7 decades of Independence lol
Like I say, if you do not want to learn then so be it.
