Disclosing Kargil casualties would affect morale of troops: CIC

As we always knew and suspected the casualties on the Indian side in Kargil were higher, finally delusional Indians who are repeatedly fooled by their slightly smarter Government will at least be put in line about Kargil. Hope they realize now they suffered a defeat in Kargil, and if any naysayers still think otherwise Pakistan today holds many key peaks in Kargil.

SiaChin: In 80s Pakistani bought Cold gear from same company from where Indian bought Atlantic gears. The idea was to capture sia-chin. Siachin was not well demarcated, It was under no country control, It was No men land for both country.

When India saw Pakistani Plan, we react fact, we took partial control of siachin. If we don't have acted on time, Pakistan would have taken control of that area and we would be crying like we cry for Gilgit-Baltistan-PAK.

sir i know that

If only people would bother to read the article before posting, we would have, slightly less dumber posts.

There must be a dozen Kargil threads, do a simple search and you will find out what I am talking about.......especially how NLI were non-regulars and were inducted into the regular Army only after their outstanding service and bravery at Kargil.

I have read some of those reports .But the new trend is that every single day a new intelligence official or former military commander comes from pakistan and spits out some "truth" in addition to the already avaliable contradictory datas that it has become difficult to understand who is telling the truth and who not .

Again its your belief, No one can question belief..

By the way if its true, why don't you ask your govt to disclose the numbers??? O wait may be because of this..

"Disclosing Kargil casualties would affect morale of troops: CIC"

as rightly pointed out in the article most of those numbers are already made public...

Which are fake! That's why they are being pushed to release the real figures and that's why they are saying it will affect the morale and hence real figures can't be released. Real figures will affect the morale.

Mr. Jr.Think Tank , in military affairs only objectives matters , Pakistan Army/Mujahedeen forces couldn't achieve that.

This article is testimony of the fact that Pakistan was indeed highly successful during the Kargil war. If true casualties are being hidden by India it actually means Pakistan achieved much of its objectives in the war and suceeded in greatly weakening India. Our only mistake was not supporting the lashkaris that had captured peaks from India. Men died fighting in there. We Pakistanis salute them.

Yeah and that so called "highly successful" country had to back off and rebuked by EVERYONE and even by it's all weather friends China. :azn: Seems like Pakistanis are ALWAYS looking to revive up their defeats by some lame excuse or other even when 4 of their top generals admitted Kargil was a BIG FAILURE but here we got self-acclaimed internet-forum-generals claiming victory.

Kargil has actually made your task impossible since now more Indian troops are stationed permanently with heavy weapons so your MISSION KASHMIR IS FAILED FOREVER. :P

Let me simplify things for you........don't trust Pakistani politicians!

Pakistan did achieve it's objectives, it occupies the key positions it wanted to in Kargil, objectives achieved.

The definition of "Objectives & Victory" in the books of Pakistan is hilarious.

So it's not a fault of internet "Jr Think Tank".

a) Dont trust Mush, ( he lied many times)
B) Dont Trust ISPR etc ( they lied many times)
C) dont trust other Gen. who said real things about kargil, ( PAK people dont want to real truth, only want to hear what they want to hear , other then that is not truth)

"Dil ko behlane ko Ghalib ye khayal achha hai"

Out one 140 peaks that Pakistan held at one time, it holds but 1 peak and two ridge line, that too right on LOC.
The said peak is surrounded by Indian peaks on three sides.

One and half decades after Kargil...India still has Siachen..the real objective of your Kargil misadventure(in case you have forgotten)

It wasn't hilarious for the hundreds of dead Indian soldiers who were defeated in Kargil.

Yeah right, don't talk about things you have no clue of. Some of the most strategic peaks and locations are within Pakistani possession. It is actually Indian soldiers on Tiger Hill which are surrounded from multiple sides.
