Difference b/w Shakira and Malala yousafzai

Only Pakistanis are to blame for their own miseries, no one else.

Of Course and the United States is not to blame. If i came and killed your son, you would be to blame because you were asleep at 1am. What an absurd logic!

There's no difference but a similarity.....both are victims of Taliban terrorism.......Malala was shot by the Taliban and Shakira got injured due to Taliban terrorists being around her vicinity......

Taliban cannot expect their homes to be safe when they are terrorizing others.........when you commit a crime and go and hide in your home, you're putting your own family members in danger.....
When you're waging 'Jihad'.....you better leave your home....that way your family members will be safe at least........the Taliban must understand this, but these incidents show that the Taliban has no compassion even for their own family members......they use them as shields....

Wrong analogy.

If police came and raid your house because a terrorist is given a place there and in meanwhile your innocent son get killed in firing, while you keep sleeping, there is no one other than you to blame.

Wrong analogy. Look at it this way:

If I invited a known fugitive, who was fleeing from a powerful person they had attacked first, to hide out in my basement, and I paid off the local police to not bother me, and I were friends with the local mayor, and then the Feds attacked and killed my entire family, who would you blame?

Shakira was more worthy to meet obama as she was his victim.
One was allegedly shot by Taliban and the other was confirmed shot by US drone but the press and respect they both got from the world clearly shows what a hypocrite world we live in and the media is nothing but a propaganda tool at the hands of capitalists and real terrorists/fanatics .

We have all heard million times the alleged atrocities of Talibans against women in afghanistan but did we ever hear about the plight of women whose husbands, brothers, kids and they themselves were injured and killed by the world peace champions who happens to be the most humane of all humans?

Well, it usually does not happen like that.
A) The innocent kids, women and other Pakistani nationals who became the victims of this UCAV warfare are a big ugly scar.A scar on the face of GoP(who gave them the nod, when it was presented as a solution and an alternate to a condition of " No boots on ground") , the Americans for obvious reasons and the body of UN.

People don't like to advertise their weaknesses.

So, now you know, why they'll not like to give those innocents any publicity or media attention.

B) On the other hand Malala's case fits like a glove to provide them with a lift and defend their case. So,the warm reception. The west will bloat it.They'll not play safe,so that you may save your face.

In both cases, the target were the innocent Pakistanis. We have suffered a lot.
We better not care if the world owns them or not.But we must own our unfortunate brothers and sisters.
Isn't it a high time to raise this question that why can't we have that "Aik din Shakira ke sath" ?

We can give an honorary degree of doctorate to the then interior minister Rehman Malik ( a PhD for Peace). But can't do a thing for the victims of terrorism & WOT.An Epic Failure of our "free media" & our policy makers.

Osama was Arab-Muslim
Saddam Arab and a Muslim
Qaddafi Arab and a Muslim
Assad Arab and a Muslim
Mollah Omar a Muslim
Is USA responsible for these above men? And please don't tell me how good Qaddafi was, go and ask any political prisoner that has survived under the reign of Qaddafi and come back to us with their opinion.

Implying that in the '80s, OBL and Mullah Omar wouldn't be praised as freedom figters in the US.
Implying that Saddam wasn't supported by the US during the Iran-Iraq war.
Oh and Saddam, Assad and Gaddafi aren't even Islamic fundamentalists. They were Pan-Arabic socialists who were a threat to the US because they represented Arab nationalism.

Saddam and Gaddafi did partake in helping Baloch insurgents in Pakistan.

So that justifies it all?
By your logic, the ME, South America, and some parts of Eastern Europe have the right to invade, overthrow, ruin the US and UK since they've been supporting coups, rebellions, and insurgencies in those parts.

You can argue till the cows come home but the fact remains that these drone strikes will continue and that innocent Pakistanis such as this child will remain "collateral damage". From my limited interactions with Pakistanis on this forum, it seems that Pakistan is a mixture of too many divergent views and a hotbed of violent diversity. Hopefully someday, you will get a leader who is strong enough to earn the respect of all Pakistanis and who will be capable of uniting the country under a liberal and determined sovereign rule. Perhaps somebody of the ilk of Ataturk of Turkey. Until then the "collateral damages" will mount

Why should i as a Pakistani cry for these fucks? They can rot in hell for all I care. All you do is making the US the boogeyman. They ONLY care for their OWN INTERESTS. Just like we did when we supported the afghani talibans. for our OWN interests.

The US does what it does best, safeguard its own interests. If only we had the foresight like them we would not be praising false prophets and killing each other in the name of Islam. This is why America is the leader, because they maybe of any religion USA comes first.

Cry for Saddam or Gaddafi? Hell no! Cry for the millions of lives lost, the thousands of homes destroyed and the violation of the sacred rights of man? Is that not worth crying for?
The truth is, the US Govt is the boogeyman. They've become a boogeyman to their own people with all the gun grabbing, and the spying and the violations of the constitution. Sure, they've been following their own interests. But when their interests infringe upon ours, I think we have the full right to protest and fight back.

Havent we fired back by supporting Afg Talicunts clandestinely? Guess what they answered with? TTP. It's one thing to make them bleed dry but you have to remember, we share a border with Afg not them. The successful terror attack after 911 was the Boston bomber with his embarrassing cooker bomb. They infringe upon privacy and not just now, it came out in the open now. They still provide the security, welfare, blah blah blah. People are ready to live with the costs. We lose more than 5k in a year and they just lost 2800 men in 13 years in Afghanistan. We cant provide security.

I am not nullifying your grievances, but if you really think US gives a ****. Then no they dont and so shouldnt we. But we are the thaikedars of Islam. Bechdiya Pakistan ko, kabhi saudia, kabhi iran, kabhi maulvi, kabhi amreeca. Just look at India where it has gone and its place in the world. People running around them because they are successful and powerful. Look at the French trying to please them just at the mere interest in Rafaels.

I care for America just as much as Pakistan, I move around in the world i get respect. No matter what people mutter under their breath or think I'm an asshole American. But the respect and power it brings, I honestly wanna see Pakistan there.

I think, Apollo or some hospital should help this little girl, if possible.

P.S : Before some nut job jumps in; I am not assuming that Pak hospitals cannot do it.

Most people fail to realise, that these chaps were not fundamentalists. They were ruthless in purging Islamic fundamentalism. I think, end of the Cold War could have still resulted in proper assimilation of the mujahideen into civil society. The start of fundamentalism started with the Gulf War. With the downfall of Iraq, the seeds of fundamentalism were sown by SA and the USA. SA money for US control.
