i am wondering before the brits came to colonize the world, if there was old world tech that is hidden from history books,
if you look on youtube and type in old world technology somewhere around 1800 they had technology way back then, especially in the new world called america. brit colonizer may have destroyed the tech and brought dark age for the oppressed.

america had orphans brought over on trains and re educated for purpose for serving the elite.

if you type tartaria you come across enormous buildings in america but no toilets. yet ppl driving horse buggy. then later on fast track technological advancement.

type in tartaria mud floods.

Some of the contribution to industrial revolution came from South Asia, specificially Bengal where weaving technology was advanced, as much that it is regarded a proto-industrial revolution. The brits of course brought that tech home to the Isle and improved it further.

Check the history, its quite eye opening.
A lot of the tech came from Ottoman and Safavid which where at their zenith in the 16th and 17th century.

This is evolution in a nutshell. Or rather technological evolution, which is run by the exact same mechanism as biological evolution.

There's a difference between tall buildings that people routinely went to the top floors of and those with high vaulted ceilings (used for natural lighting to illuminate the inside through windows since "dependable" lightbulbs weren't available until the 1880's). Also nobody is going to say some old and tall Cathedrals/Mosques weren't possible because flush toilets weren't around. :rolleyes1:

With the advent of the electrical safety elevator (by an American ~1853 BTW) it was now possible to build much taller buildings without people killing themselves climbing long staircases. With these new structures came new problems and getting human waste out of a building without throwing it out the window and having it rain down on the pedestrians below forced advances in plumbing.

The legacy of the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 (Chicago Fair) is more than the few buildings it left behind, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Art Institute among them.

The exposition also was a marvel for the way it used modern engineering and public-works ideas, not the least of which was the installation on the site of 3,500 flush toilets, devices that most of the fair visitors had never seen.

The Black Death/Plague Depopulated many parts of the world, but Europe by almost half. Labor saving devices had to be made and there was constant pressure due to competition between states to keep up. Scholars employed by these states sought knowledge to advance their states technological developments to stay at the cutting edge of military science. We need only look at what military inventions Leonardo Da Venci dreamed up. As they say, necessity was the mother of all invention.

The Portuguese and Spanish sailed around Africa to get around the ottoman Silk Road route to not have to be limited by ottoman trade. The English raided Spanish galleons to stay ahead of their Iberian Catholic neighbors, and then colonized parts of the new world to try their own luck. They opened their colonizes to settlers from other nations as well as their own to maximize attracting the most entrepreneurial workers to maximize their colonial ROI.

There is no great conspiracy just competition for power and wealth. The English played the game the best.

The Japanese tried isolation after a few decades of trading via the Portuguese, and then once forced to open up they modernized to avoid being colonized. All nations have to modernize to one degree or another if they hope to maintain their sovereignty.

You need to understand the dynamics of technology. What is a technology and how it evolves.

Europeans were just merchants at first, just like Saudis. They didnt have much to grow. What they initially did was buying stuff from one side of the world and selling it to the other side of the world. They killed and made extict many animals in this process, they traded cloth, raw material, european women and much more. But with time they realised that technology can bring them much more than what the basics goods can.. So here started the exports of weapons and small industrial parts. But then even this was not enough. They started to setup their industrial units and trade zones all around the globe. But then they thought the local govts are charging too much. And then came the "democracy"....

Even today, you sell wheat which is far more precious, way cheaper than the technological crap, which is intrinsically useless.

So yes, basic technology existed, and rest of the technology was developed as trade tool, that destroyed many many nations, many many cultures and global environment.
I am developing technologies since many years now, I can attest that.

Fall of muslim Spain brought about the renaissance in Europe. Muslim Spain was full of libraries and books which were lost to the Europeans such as work of the Greeks philosophers which was translated into arabic. Christian Europe in the dark ages was burning and killing people and ideas, muslim europe flourished. This was the turning point.

see this is what i mean the books and libraries burnt deliberately plus it is said vatican has books that can solve mystery but they hide it from public.

i think the european dark ages was deliberate not by accident by the elite plus it happening to muslim world now i would say we are in dark ages or close to it.

I see a lot of chatter about using lots of Eastern tech (I’m sure there was) but for some reason people can’t easily list examples of these tons of tech.

You’d think it would be on the tips of people’s tongues since they are so positive about this being the roots of Europeans achievements…
