Forget CIA , they do not care about it . I also do not think that Pakistan will do it , as already Banga Bandhu Improved relationship with Pakistan . So only India can be blamed as , Bangha Bandhu not only developed relationship with Pakistan , but with OIC as well .

Then I lost the spirit. I wish to read this book again. You can also read the book . It was written by major Dalim. The Pakistani fellow ( @Old School ) informed that here Dalim said that, Zia later became an Indian agent !
However I am not saying so as I didn't read the book yet ( apart from few chapters) and also the book surely not a gospel.

Forget Political pets .What if in future we make an amendment in our constitution and bring back presidential form again ? I believe men like Fakhruddin can be elected as president by direct vote of people.

Parliamentary system is a joke in county like Bangladesh. Specially when article 70 literally made this system farcical. It gave the immunity to prime minister.

An executive president can be better for Bangladesh I think. At least I believe that dependency on party goons toto win election is always a bad idea.

So only an excutive president can rule Bangladesh with iron fist .

But indeed he must be a man . A woman is not very good when the case is ruling a nation.

Thanks for bringing up the most important point. There are two ways, change of personnel and change of systems. We desperately need a fair system. All these politicians are driven by greed of ruling forever and a term limit wud put an end to that. If they change to a presidential system then the president shud only be able to serve the maximum of two consecutive terms.

Our system of democratic governance is the worst on the planet. The Presidential system with term limit like in America is so much better. Even if theY don’t change to A presidential system, the amount of time a politician can serve as prime minister must be limited to only a period.

I agree with Dalal er ma Nodi that BNP Hierarchy must distance itself from the Zia’s. Because the Zia’s are holding them off by being in a position of weakness. They are not willing to make any personal sacrifices, so those that are willing to i.e Fakhrul can’t do anything but watch. The Zia family are like 50 yr old farmers on the front lines of a battle who are holding off the better fighters by being a burden on them.

One guy claims to be a leader while hiding A continent away in the UK.
