I've been an American citizen for 26 years.

When I was at college, my American friends (like Bruce Weinberg) said "you are as American as apple pie" to me.

I think I know enough about American culture to claim to be an American.

In conclusion, I would say that I'm sufficiently American to fly the American flag if I want to.

Socialist countries never work 100% of the times, just like Capitalist countries. Bismark a staunch anti-socialist/communist man became the first to enact socialist policies for German workers.

Everything is good in doses. A 100% capitalist country is crap for almost everyone, because we maybe borne equal before the law, but not in abilities. As someone who has seen extremely smart people in his life. I can attest, putting me in there with them is about as good as killing me, or making me a slave.

Indonesia is barely hanging to a real democracy which they've had for past 10 years, and is prone to a coup. Economy is in the shiiiiters. Turkey has an islamist leading who has taken away democratic freedoms, jailed opposition members. In Pakistan the military is the one that calls the shots. I'd say all Islamic countries, at best sans one or two, have its people being ruled and under the thumb of some dictator, monarchy or military.
