All the old shows which you liked back then would not only be disliked now but also it would feel obnoxious and cringe-worthy. It is because in childhood, you don't have sense of quality. Moreover nostalgia further distorts memory. You would have fond memories but you would be disappointed if you watch it today/tonight.

not because of childhood, but because two different era plus quality of production have improved so much now that old shows look crap no matter how good the story and characters are.
