Calcutta and Dhaka,both have unique characteristics and distinct vibrations. Beneath the high rise buildings and modern constructions lay the rich history of cultural amalgamation of British and Mughal ecstasies in these two cities. While Dhaka looks more beautifully green with its sublime parks and lakes,Calcutta holds a complete different countenance with Victorian architectural masterpieces.
As a native Indian,I will put Calcutta a inch higher than Dhaka for its the
Bhulbhulaiya of thousand lanes in the north of the city,the magnificent street foods,tea stalls and the mild wind on the shore of river Ganges
