It doesn't matter whether Pakistan or bangladesh support india for permanent seat.
Until the 5 existing permanent members supports India. Because if even any one of them doesn't support India. It would not be possible for India to have a permanent seat

Maybe India ..... Japan is a strict NO for china (only USA amongst the 5 was supporting Japan).. or have they changed the stance now ?

Anyway .... it will be the general assembly that will decide, isnt it ? .. i dont think it will come down to this 5 .. or am i wrong?

General assembly will pass ther resolution still 5 permanent member have the final say. I know BD could not secure UN membership for a while due to Chinese veto even though general assembly passed our membership overwhelmingly.
