Well, the DF-5 will appear in the next month's parade for the final time, since the new generation DF-41 family is its true successors that is going to take its place, not the DF-31 family.

Farewell, our old buddies, since you guys have already defended China for more than three decades, and now it is the time to take the retirement. The people from China will remember you guys forever.

Man that's sad to hear. DF-5 was the only thing there to stop the American fascists from nuking China. That was China's only deterrence back when China was still pretty weak.

DF-5 protected China in its time of need.

One of the most iconic weapons in the history of China.

Thanks to the DF-5 and its creators. They did Chinese people a great service.

DF-31A has been in service for a while now, and DF-41 is wrapping up its testing. We also have H-6K capable of carrying nuclear tipped cruise missiles as well as submarine launched JL-2. Overall China's nuclear strike capability has grown leaps and bounds in the past 10 years. We no longer have to depend on a few dozen DF-5A as deterrent.
