Developments and Turkish operations in Libya

Çakma patriotic accounts are again distributing judgment against Erdogan on twitter like everywhere.

Of course, he does not fight alone, but Erdogan is the greatest architect behind that policy. Please leave internal politic posts to other threads and stick to the thread here.
You should listen to your own advice and "leave internal politic posts to other thread and stick to the thread here". If you can't you'll find plenty of entertaining stuff on the internet, stop polluting here.

United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
  • The only way to solve the crisis in Libya is through ceasefire and political process.
  • The crisis in Libya has been going on for years. Parties with limited gains in the region cannot establish a stable Libya facility.

Libya's GNA is close to signing a military deal with a new strategic partner similar to #Turkey,

Most probably Tunisia. Algeria is a little bit more restrained when it comes to strategic partnership of that kind. With the securing of Watiyah base and the establishing of control trough the border line with Tunisia now they feel more secure. They wanted to secure the border line from a lot of time but couldn't do it directly due to the political implications because they don't want to engage directly with France and UAE. Turkey did them a great favor by supporting the GNA and secure the area for them. If the rumors are true I expect it to be Tunisia.

Problem now is going to be with UN security council. There is no one to veto in favour of turkey. And they will push for cease fire at UN. Funny UAE calling for political process. Egypt calling for a political solution. UK US saying the same shit and talking about arms embargos again (like bosnia they like to see slaughters not fair fights). France is still believing that they have some ownership in the region. Russia is saying that all military actions should stop (except Wagnar of course).

So Chinese will probably come to the Turks aid with a veto :).

They will want to do that so their allies Haftar and co can have a future in Libya politics, they could have done this before but wanted Tripoli to fall.

The unfortunate thing is the extremist groups have become really powerful, both GNA and LNA funds and trains extremist organisation, who kill innocent, destroy mosques and graves.

I think if Turkey pushes too close to eastern Libya, UAE and Egypt openly deploy troops to Sirte to stop Turkey advance like how Turkey deployed troops in Idlib to stop SAA advance.

China is still sour with Erdogan's backing of East Turkestan independence. No way China supports Turkey. In fact, China continues to sell Pterodactyl II attack planes to UAE and Egypt used in Libya at very low discount.

According to this video, a news organization in Egypt connected to Sissi's government has softened tone towards Turkey, so indirectly this is an olive branch to repair connections. Being close to the egyptian government means the message could have real value in repairing relations.

One important part is that the issue with Muslim Brotherhood is no longer at the top of the list, but at the bottom.

So no, I don't think Egypt is interested in investing anymore in Libya than they've already done.
