Blablabla.
The
Antilles is an archipelago bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the south and west, the Gulf of Mexico to the northwest, and the Atlantic Ocean to the north and east.
What used to be the Netherlands Antilles has been disbanded permamently 2010.
The following remains:
Aruba, with its own constitution, is a representative parliamentary democracy organised as a unitary state. Aruba's politics take place within a framework of a 21-member Parliament and an eight-member Cabinet. The governor of Aruba is appointed for a six-year term by the monarch, and the prime minister and deputy prime minister are elected by the Staten (or "Parlamento") for four-year terms. The Staten is made up of 21 members elected by direct, popular vote to serve a four-year term. Both
Curaçao and
Sint Maarten are centralised
unitary states with similar administrative characteristics to Aruba. These three islands are seperate countries that are part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (just like e.g. the UK consists of the four counries: Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland). The other three former Netherlands Antilles islands (
Bonaire,
Saba and
St. Eustatius) have elected, by popular referendum, to accept status of special municipality within the country called The Netherlands, which is the fourth country in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Together with the Netherlands, the countries of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten form the Kingdom of the Netherlands. As they share the same Dutch citizenship, these four countries still also share the Dutch passport as the Kingdom of the Netherlands passport. As Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten have small populations, the three countries had to limit immigration. To protect their population, they have the right to control the admission and expulsion of people from the Netherlands. Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten are designated member of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) and thus officially not a part of the
European Union, though the islands can and do receive support from the European Development Fund.

Don't blame me for you failure to research and comprehend how things are in the real world (see e.g. post #31). There is nothing implicit about it: these are easily verifiable facts (if you bother, that is, not if you are too lazy and just stick with your biased preconceptions)
The Kingdom of the Netherlands (that is: all four countries mentioned above together) provided aid and assistance to Pakistan on numerous occasions, of which I provided some illustratoins in post #41.
My, my, aren't you pitifull when it comes to reading and comprehending posts in this thread....
Anyway: back to topic, hurricane IRMA.
