50 pages of non-sense over a pork thread about Kerala

at least I got to know the viewpoints of Hindutvawaadis about keralites in general. So it was illuminating based on that.

So here's the thing. I don't think I have advocated for a particular regime in an Indian state. If I have, I shouldn't have. Because each state has their own problems which are unique.

The only reason I remotely consider BJP presence in Kerala is I am hoping they are more business minded than the current lot. But what the state doesn't need, after Communists and Muslim league and caste organisation is more religious nutters.

I know Mallus can be downright twats sometimes about HDI this and all that, even though the socialism in the state is in life support spoon fed by Western and Middle Eastern capitalism.

But, it is good to have 50 pages of pork served in Kerala threads. It revealed to me the extent of divisions in India. And the level of disdain even I found surprising towards an insignificant state at the southern tip of the country.

what do you think of India in terms of Economic and cultural viewpoint?? Because a lot of people particularly Indians are frustrated with the pace of growth. But then again this policy for economic growth is quite often sacrificed in the calculus of populist policies.

The reason is Pakistanis find two nation theory very insufficient to assert a non-India identity, so pretending to be fair race and attacking Indians for darker skin give them a feeling of belonging to different non-Indian race. I have seen this fairer skin comparison even in historical narrative in Pakistan.

No offence Bengali but reading anhtro forums recently i was shocked to find out even Tamil brahmins think they are not like other South Indians, and talk about **** ancestry. Same thing for Bengali brahmins.

Not only is it historically inaccurate but extremely offensive. Also note that it comes not from trolls but the very top of the lot. This is now no longer verboten, but even acceptable if not worth encouraging. And this is just one small example of the recent trend.

I remember racist slurs used against Pakistanis, and even I took offence from the fact that they are the same race as us. The level of tolerance for Nazism, anti Hinduism, anti Sikhism and anti Ahmedia etc thought has reached new levels. Thread titles are extremely provocative and anti Semitic statements are granted scores of Thanks without any penalty. The open and blunt unequivocal hatred on display and the stunning silence and even support from Mods and admins may just prove my deepest fears about a particular community in particular. I joined with the hopes of meeting sane Pakistanis and other Middle Easterners - who could see beyond religion. But other than exceptions, now even the most 'liberal' lot is turning silent or supporting xenophobic behavior. Mind you - a slur from RazPak or Manvan is nothing serious and never hurt, but one from the ones who earned respect for their fair analysis do.

Honestly I care little about Israel or Palestine but Pakistan is closer and the people here are all educated and I expect more understanding and rational thinking on their part. Indian counter trollers have also become hyper active that does not help the matters at all. But since they get banned rapidly, they don't get to influence much.
