There are a few in Kotli and Mirpur area who feel Kashmir should be independent as greater kashmir. But they dont represent mainstream.

Ik aur baat Poonch aik riasat thi aur isko punjab se control kia jaata tha. Iski demographics ki waja se kashmir ka hissa banaya giya hai. Even we call our self poonchians not kahsmiri.
jab yahan ke local logon ne captain Hussain Khan ki qiadat mein Mong, Thorarh, Rawalakot,Palandri,Sudhnoti, Muzafarabad aur Mirpur azad kia to rajori poanch gai thei yeh sab.
Wahan ja ker kuch Gilgiti loag apba ilaqa azad kerne chale gai the, actully gilgit bhi kahamir ke raja ne khareeda hua tha, usi raja ko humne bhi mar ker bhagaya tha aur gilgition ne bhi. Phir jab humloag Rajori mein thorhe se reh gai tho FATA ke tribes aayi the hamri help kerne.

Poori tehreeke azadi ki baghawat 1832 mein shuru hui thi aur october 1947 mein pehla fire Naib subedar Allah ditta of mong kanchri ne kia tha aur majestrate ram laal ko apni bara bore rifle se goli maari thi aur jihad ka aghaaz kia tha district level per.
