Day After Winning Gallantry Award, Army Officer Dies Fighting Terrorists


Kashmir: A day after winning a gallantry award, an officer of the Indian Army died battling a group of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.

A police personnel and two terrorists were also killed in the encounter, which took place at Mindora.

Colonel Munindra Nath Rai, the commanding officer of the 44 Rashtriya Rifles had received the Yudh Seva Medal yesterday.

The operation had been launched after security forces got a tip-off that a local resident affiliated to HIzbul Mujahideen had come home along with some accomplices.

The deceased militants have been identified as Adil Khan, a resident of Mindora, and Shiraz Dar.

No,Neither salwar kamiz nor G3 has been successful in liberating Kashmir moreover G3 and salwar kamiz failed to stop dhoti occupation of siachen(qaid post renamed Bana post) and Bangladesh.

Actually we don't value our soldiers regardless. We as Indians react only when terrorists reach Mumbai, Delhi. Otherwise any death of a soldier is a two minute headline.

Actually that was wrong info.
Two security personnel Colonel Rai and police constable Sanjeev Singh lost their lives in the encounter. Both terrorists were gunned down soon.
One soldier was injured in the operation but is now in hospital in stable condition.

So far this month 10 terrorists have been killed.
