If they are sincere...why do they insist on being called Muslims while they are not. They consider the real Muslims as infidels so we just returned the favour because they do not fulfil the criteria of being a Muslim. They should be more than happy to be alive and living freely.

Why does a person have to file an affidavit declaring their religion? I understand that Pakistan is an Islamic Republic but Islam promotes tolerance and respect for all religion with one of its basic teachings being that there shall be no compulsion in religion. In my view this is no different from apartheid South Africa where people were obliged to carry identification cards on the basis of race. Hopefully the government of Pakistan will take this judgement on appeal and have this over ruled. This doesn't project Pakistan in a good light

They are equal citizens of Pakistan and free to practice their beliefs. Period.

But quadyanis cannot be allowed to subvert the law of the land that recognizes them as a minority religion different from Islam.

Sir, the example of Kuffar-e-Mekkah is not applicable here because they were a separate entity with a different set of believes and name. While the virus of qadyaniyet was created by the British to destroy Islam and distort it beyond recognition...
Actually the precedence of Meeslama Kazab from the earliest time of Islam is valid here.
