In BD hindus have high social status and have huge presence in civil service, police, laywes doctors etc while chakmas and other non-muslim tribes have moved up the social ladder over the last 20 years which is a good thing IMHO. Destitute social groups based on ethnicity, religion or economic status should have quota benefit if it helps solve their problems IMO. We have many non Muslims including Ahmadiyas in civil service, military and elsewhere. Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis etc have no problem in declaring their faith, the Ahmadiyas on the other hand masquerade as Muslims---hence the court's order.
Most of the minorities declare their faith happily to avail the benefit of the quota system provided by the same state which allegedly "oppresses" them and discriminates against them.

If this is a law for mirzais then make it clear why target the whole minority? If declaration of faith is important, sects should also be declared so as to identify the sects funding and sympathizing with TTP, Alqaeda, lal masjid clerics and Daesh and being guided by RAW. Would you agree to it?

If so, what would stop ethnic parties to demand declaration of ethnicity and language to demand greater quotas for their communities like they have in karachi for sindhis and for baloch in punjab?

Again, single out mirzais and ban them but dont make this law a generic one.

As far as the declaration of sect is concerned, you have to mention your religion and your sect in the armed forces(At the ISSB centre). Shias, Beralvis , al-hadith, deobandis are proud followers of their sects and will mention happily if required.

In most of the western countries mosques are not allowed to be built especially with its distinctive architecture, Azan is banned here while Church bells can ring, secular govts still pay to the churches but not to the mosques, most of the mosques are registered as community centers, many have banned hijab on public places, and Muslims don't get holidays on Eids but xtians get long holidays on xmas.. but in Pakistan churches are built with their distinctive and prominent look, xtians get xmas holidays and salary in advance.. So WTF hypocrites and vermins keep harping here while Pakistan is not a secular state still we have far more freedom. I think Pakistan also should implement the same restriction on the minorities as are in the west on Muslims... to get equal to the religious freedom of the Europe. I don't know what the hell are you talking about.
Minorities have reserved seats in govt vacancies, which means that they compete against both the merit and quota vacancies. That is a big favor which people like me give, who can't get a job despite scoring 80 marks while a non-Muslim gets the same job on minority quota by scoring 65 marks.

Qadianis have to declare their religion because they pose themselves as Muslims. And BTW, in the armed forces you have to mention not only your religion but also your sect(ISSB), that has not stopped any qadiani from becoming a general. @Desert Fox
