The engine nozzle you see in the top left corner is of a Tumansky R-13 turbojet, installed on the Mig-21 series. A simple google search on the specific engine should help.

The thing is, Indian media could never show the picture of downed F-16.

IF we believe that this missile was used to shoot down Abhinandan's aircraft, and the other Mig crashed due to technical fault..as claimed by indian media. Then how it is possible that indian media found the picture of a part of Aim-120C, which shot down a MIG inside Azad Kashmir but could never found the wreckage of an entire F-16?
Or india must accept that other MIG was also shot down by PAF, inside IOK

Secondly the serial number can be confirmed by USA.

Guys it is indian media 1st they said they destroyed terror camp which came to be a lie now F-16 which is also a lie. if they have proof they could have show body parts of F-16 pilot or any thing if they destroyed it. Don't believe any thing that Indian media is saying

We can't be sure whether it was definitely launched from the F16 now.

Why dont you take a look at the video that is somewhere in this thread. It shows the same piece of wreckage from the front.
