PLAN DDG-112 Harbin is currently under refit in Shanghai. From the pictures, we can see that HQ-7 short range anti-air missiles, several radars (most notably the Type 518 Hai Ying long-range L-Band 3D air search radar) and the 4 Type H/PJ76A dual 37 mm AA guns have been removed from the ship.

The pictures below are the pictures of DDG-112 before refit:

Any new pictures of the ship and updates on the refit can be posted in this threat.

This is a speculative image of the DDG-112 after refit:

The most notable change is the removal of the HUGE parabolic Type 518 Hai Ying long-range L-Band 3D air search radar at the rear of the ship.

Personally, I do not have lots of hope for this ship to be modernized to be as advanced as the 52B. Despite the pretty advanced CODOG propulsion system that gives it 31 knots top speed and its towing sonar, it is still a ship of early 90s technology.
