Corps Commander’s Conference was held today at GHQ. General Raheel Sharif, COAS presided over the meeting which was attended by all Corps Commanders and Principal Staff Officers. Participants held a comprehensive review of internal and external security situation with particular focus on prevailing environment at LOC and operational preparedness of the Army.

Rejecting the absurd Indian claims of hoax surgical strikes as an attempt to divert world’s attention, away from brutalities being committed by Indian Army against innocent Kashmiries, the forum resolved that any attempt of misadventurism and irresponsible act will be met with the most befitting response.

While expressing complete satisfaction over operational preparedness of the troops, COAS reiterated Pakistan Army’s resolve to defend the motherland at any cost against full spectrum of threat.

Recounting the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb so far and resultant stability being achieved to propel Pakistan in to a new phase of development and prosperity,COAS re-emphasized the need for sustained efforts on internal security to defeat all hostile attempts to reverse our gains. The participants resolved to continue sustained and focused combing and intelligence-based operations across the length and breadth of the country to uproot terrorism harmonizing it with implementation of NAP to address extremism and other causes of terrorism.

The Corps Commanders expressed on Friday serious concerns over the publication of a story regarding a security meeting held at Prime Minister’s House.

Participants [of the meeting] expressed serious concern over feeding of false and fabricated story of an important security meeting at PM House, and viewed it as breach of national security,” the military’s media wing ISPR said.

Army chief General Raheel Sharif presided over the Corps Commanders’ conference at the GHQ. All Corps Commanders and Principal Staff Officers attended the meeting.

The participants also held a comprehensive review of internal and external security situation with particular focus on the prevailing situation on the Line of Control (LoC) and army’s operational preparedness.

Army chief reiterated the resolve to defend the motherland against a full spectrum of threats at all costs. He also recounted the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb so far and resultant stability being achieved to propel Pakistan in to a new phase of development and prosperity.

General Raheel re-emphasised the need for sustained efforts on internal security to defeat all hostile attempts to reverse the country’s gains. The commanders resolved to continue sustained and focused combing and intelligence-based operations across the length and breadth of the country to uproot terrorism.

They agreed to harmonise the operations with the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) to address extremism and other causes of terrorism.

The presentation by the foreign secretary summarised the results of the recent diplomatic outreach by Pakistan, the crux being that Pakistan faces diplomatic isolation and that the government’s talking points have been met with indifference in major world capitals.
On the US, Mr Chaudhry said that relations have deteriorated and will likely further deteriorate because of the American demand that action be taken against the Haqqani network. On India, Mr Chaudhry stated that the completion of the Pathankot investigation and some visible action against Jaish-i-Mohammad were the principal demands.

Just yesterday this happened

The United States on Wednesday refused to respond to Jamaat-ul-Dawa Chief Hafiz Saeed’s comments regarding its relations with Pakistan.

The US Department of State spokesperson John Kirby said he will not dignify comments of any avowed terrorist after Hafiz Saeed earlier said that the US is the real enemy of Pakistan.

John Kirby said, “The US is committed to working with Pakistan to eliminate terrorism and urged Pakistan to shut down access to areas within its borders to terrorists, terrorist individuals and terrorist groups.”

Trust me ganja hasn't learn anything at all from his previous mistakes, he is one ignorant idiot who does not care about anyone lose except himself and his interests. The defence secretary mr. Chaudhry was asked to give presentation so that ganja makes a case against the army.

He just can't swallow popularity of army and RS among laymen. How difficult it is dig out as who leaked the in camera briefing. What an idiot we have in the form of ganja as our pm, just wondering how long we suffer more and army realise enough is enough.

there is a lot of difference between story "leaked" or "fabricated". a well reputed author can't just make up a story. there is something fishy. if the story is leaked it means that civil military relations are not good and there is something cooking. why the author should fabricate a stroy out of nothing. he must knew that he will be in thick soup by writing up a "gupp" about such an important issue. he wont be able to write for any newspaper again as he will lose his credibility. my personal opinion is that no respected author will ever make that blunder of fabricating a story about such important issue at such a crucial time.
