I agree there. The suffering of these ex-Hindu untouchables knows no limits. They moved from India to what is now Pakistan after converting to Christianity during British rule. Post 1947 figured it was better to live in Pakistan then move back to India. But their suffering continues. Extremist Muslims kill them, Chinese target them for prostitution.

No except few incident here and there they are living and doing menial jobs which were awarded to them during british era. They have representation in Punjab assembly and some of them serve in military as well. No extremist Muslim after them.

Yes this is one of the solution. But these families are equal partners and basically they sold their daughters for the sake of money which is so shameless to think. The same people don't even marry their daughters outside their biradri and do full investigation about the family of the boy who they already know.
But in this case, they easily ignored all those checks.
The father, brother or uncle of a girl are her guardians and they are responsible for making sure that their daughter, sister, niece does not marry a wrong guy. And that is why the permission of the wali is a must for the girl for her first marriage.
How difficult for a Muslim father is to test whether someone is Muslim or not?
Also, on top of being Muslim, you have to keep in mind the compatibility between the girl & the boy but they ignored and married their girls to foreigners with dubious character and from a totally different culture. They can't even speak each other's language.

I agree, we all know that China is majority non-Muslim and they should've known to ask questions extensively. I get that some people are in poverty but they need to protect their daughters better and not fall for the bag of gold.

Perhaps the marriage brokers lied to them in favour of the chinese men.

Well, these are just basic checks...rest no body knows how it will turn out in the future. However, in these cases, families seem to not follow these checks. But my observation may be limited to middle to upper class decent families while these criminals targeted the families from the poor class & minorities.

Are you sure? China has denied that Pakistani women are being trafficked into prostitution.
Those poor girls are innocent small age.
