Dassault's Rafale - the best and most complete aircraft our test pilot has ever flown

why cant Pakistan look forward to buy this bird....?

only reason
Money!

Who will sell them?
Recently France agreed India not o sell advanced an heavy weapons to pakistan.
India evaluated them long way. Some people fired why to buy a plane that india had tested a long way in case of Mig35 to pakistan, same applies here.
It will become one more F-16 if 20-40 planes are brought.

Although EF is better than Rafale, Given the IAF experience with Mirage and France, Rafale may be the best bird for India

7 JF-17 are better than a single rafale:agree:

Bro, what about TOT?

Adding to it

You know, what kind of platform we will be having after 7-8 years. After that we needn't to import any of fighter planes. Although, initial investment will be high but we will be having our own brand and a mature enough platform and all these funding will turn out to be returns.

What do you say?

Sorry, Bro I have a different opinion in this. Today India and China are one of the most influential countries of the world. All of the countries are seeking their opportunities in these so as France.
Once Pakistan's economy will be up, all these will head towards them.

What about 31 spit fighter planes for a rafale? isn't it! :azn:

maybe they just wanted to know its weaknesses as they knew that it or the typhoon would win the competetion

Just by flying a couple of sorties... will PAF will be able to understand the entire weakness?... After all it takes years to understand the aircraft fully... even IAF have tested only the points whether it has got what it needed..

Common guys, no need for the circular arguments about funding and IAF superiority, both exist, and both have become increasingly exaggerating in attempts to score points. With the strength of the Pakistani military establishment, they essentially control the country, if they really want something they will find a way to buy it. The numerical superiority serves no purpose, the border is limited, and a potential conflict would be short, making the PAF more than a match for the IAF.
Rafale is an extremely formidable aircraft, but it really isnt good enough compared to the Eurofighter in the air superiority role...still, looks so nice...wish we did have it.

why is 2 years old thread suddenly active?

Under the financial strain , i guess buying one Dassault's Rafale ( $ 90 million) would be very harmful for Pakistan and even with your whole AIR FORCE budget ,pakistan can only afford 10 of those. where One JF-17 is ($ 15 million) that means in cost of ONE RAFALE pakistan can buy 6 of those. JF-17.

Array yaar no need to rub it in ... its more like we have been there and done it boss we checked this aircraft out already check previous post with even a pic its all about cost the french are out of their damn minds thats why at times they can't sell sh_t we don't want to buy it nor can we so leave it alone and it doesn't look like anyone else does either unless india buys it since it can afford it so then buy the sucker simply.
