I grew up in Bihar.

I was born and have lived a major part of my adult life in Maharashtra.

My mother's family is Maharashtrian.

My father's family is Surti with roots in UP for the past 8 generations dating back to early British days.

Both sides of my family fought in Maratha campaigns in Gujarat. Raising money and men for Shivajis's forces.

And we come from a long line of soldiers, from then to this day.

These are recorded family trees extending back 400 years.

I don't know much to anything beyond that of our stay in India or who we were in Persia.
