Dalit Women fined for entering Hindu temple

LMAO I am a sc..Don't teach me...I have never felt that way.
Then why you are counting whole Dalits although such happens to very few countable people. We know many dalits as well as Brahmins & they never behaved such way as media portrays.Almost every week my family member goes to Mandir including many people same caste as us.So Middle finger to media.Nobody ever had differentiated us as media says,if such happens I would have said differently..

You are a blot on the Hindus of this country. :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

Why are you discussing origins of Malayalam ? Malayam is nothing but bastardised Sanskrit. The Bastardization is due to the introduction of Tamil, a language from its immediate geographical neighbourhood.
Mind your language..
Whats bastarized language??..I am not denying the influence of Sanskrit in Malayalam...Malayalam was originally a dialect of Ancient Tamil(Chera dialect of Tamil) heavily influenced by Sanskrit later...Tamil is the closest language of Malayalam...
This is the very reason why many Malayalis(who lives in Kerala) could follow and understand Tamil without any difficulties..

.
We need a Social Reformer like Raja Ram Mohan Roy urgently.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy was a Brahmin :P

so what happened to "you have to be a Dalit to understand the gravity of the situation" ? :cheesy:

Are you a Christian ?

Rubbish......... I don't live in kerala and I can follow and understand and speak Tamil without any difficulties.

Malayalam has more Sanskrit than Tamil so its clear where its origin lies. In any case I am sick of endlessly discussing this same topic with you. No more.

You are a blot on the Hindus of this country. :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

Coming from you I take it as a complement :enjoy: ..... Thank you.

so says a Sinhala who never questions the authencity of the Sinhala Buddhist fairy tale Mahavamsa written in Pali, an alien language

Pali is not alien ,it was the language used in ancient Sri Lanka before Sinhala was born

So what if Raja Ram Mohan Roy was a Brahmin?

He was an enlightened soul who worked for the general upliftment of poor and downtrodden regardless of Cast.

The Scheduled Castes community at Sigaranahalli in Holenarsipur taluk is furious after the ‘upper caste’ people of the village imposed a penalty on four Dalit women for entering a temple.

The women have refused to pay the penalty arguing that they too have rights to enter the temple as they contribute money to organise its festival.

When The Hindu visited the village on Sunday, Thayamma, in her late 50s, came down heavily on the ‘upper castes’ for questioning her entry into the Sri Basaveshwara Temple, constructed in 2001. It was on August 31 that the four women entered the temple for a special puja held on behalf of Sri Basaveshwara Stree Shakti Sangha, a self-help group consisting of 20 members.

Dalits fume over fine on their women for entering temple in Karnataka: The Hindu - Mobile edition

This is the main reason we have so many muslims in this sub-continent, as all of the muslims in south Asia are low cast converts who had enough of this discrimination. In India untouchability should be illegal and all the upper cast Hindus should unite for this.

I saw some one mention that 90% of the Indian posters here belong to the Dalit caste....i am surprised about the lack of outrage from them !
