Of course this is a serious thread. The beautiful and wonderful cats must live not only because they are superior to almost all creatures on Earth - to be placed alongside intelligent humans - but also because their presence in human society in utterly necessary for that society to have rationality and civilization or a semblance of those. Look at the utterly uncivilized, irrational and disharmonious India where instead of cats there are 60+ million street dogs plus many purchased dogs. 60+ million can be the human population of a medium-sized country. A country of dogs. So the 60+ million street dogs of India and almost extinct cats makes India what it is as said previously. The properities of the dogs in India have been internalized by many humans here - cruelty, gang behavior, aggression, chaos creation, noise etc. @Sudarshan, you laughed at the OP so read my post.

As for this pet food crisis in Pakistan why "pet food" why not fish or chicken or boiled egg yolk ( which cats relish ) ?

Pakistanis in general are cruel to animals so even when they talk about Riyasat e Madina they have no concept of Animal rights taught by the prophet.
