Crude Oil Price at 1 dollar per barrel

. .
The price should be held and differance should go into massive human resouvce investment. Education, education, education and health. For a better future.

I becoming more and more sympathetic to Socialist ideals to a extent for developing countries developed countries it's not so great but for developing nations most probable recipe for success even "anti socialist/communist" camp nations adopted a flavoring of socialistic planning-South Korea in the 70s and 80s and they are more focused on mass literacy and industrialisation

the prices are gonna remain the same yes
but the difference will go elsewhere

Present infra won't be able to hold two years supply. New massive, expensive infra. You going to build it? Where is the money going to come from? $$$$ don't forget. Surviving with bailouts by IMF and you smart guys want to go on a massive infra project with chances by time it is built the oil will have rebounded. Yes, I am sure this is time to top up the reserves to max but two years of oil. Are you guys kidding???

i am so tied up but let me answer it how it will jumpstart the economy... its a long term investment. Two pay outs.

1) the cost to build infrastructure and to use it when the prices are high is the offset. you can provide cheap oil with Cost producing new Good (COGS) can be lower and will jumpstart exports which will essentially offset your competitors and you can uplift the life of your people...
2) It can come as reserves for wartime.
3) whenever there is a downterm, its time to invest... Economics 101.

The benefit of 1 supersedes anything for Pakistan.

and hence, i am not kidding.

.
so?
when is the effect gonna come down to the common man of Pakistan?
In some countries it is in negative now

perfect time for Pakistan to increase it reserves for 2 years and prepare for war to liberate kashmir

Global recession brings about a lot of joblessness and people look up to governments for jobs, food and shelter. If the government cannot do that, it can start a planned process of militarization (just like Nazi Germany). Your decision to attack India from the north is also an extension of such thinking. The boredom of quarantine and joblessness can make one dream of Eastward expansion and invasions, but I would choose to avoid doing something that would destroy the Kashmir cause.

The war between two nuclear nations cannot be won even if all the global oil reserves are at their disposal.

Oil don't win wars.

@I S I is right, but he did not explain it much.

. . .
Bro it's a waste of time to explain common sense to a moron.
so uncivilized, so unclassy and low life response... quite shameful... calling names happen when ego is hurt or there is lack of any substance. you are black listed from my responses now.

That is so true, as you can see there are two options presented after my initial response...

i am going to build on your massive government spend argument, which holds true and tries to my argument of infrastructure build out of increasing oil reserves. Pakistan is highly levered therefore getting more loans for external debt wont be possible. However, a mix of private equity, bank loans or issuing bond can raise money to increase the reserves and use them to jump start economy when things are right...

Yes the argument of war with nuclear neighbor is tough, but for that pakistan needs to raise substantial conventional force to avoid nuclear triggering point.. that point i raised in a different thread of kashmir and opportunity in these times.
