Craze of learning Chinese hits Mongolia

.
It is actually out of respect. I have been a long time member here. @Chinese-Dragon knows me very well. We were the best of friends trolling Indians here years ago. :D

The thing is that Chinese youth should not speak about Islam, because most of you are new age Chinese. You guys think about us the same way western media portrays us, and that is completely unfair.

If Pakistani and Muslims look at China with western view, then we can also say many bad things about China and Chinese people. Fortunately, Pakistani people are not brainwashed people.

So we respect your way of life, but please don't try to tell us what we should or should not believe.

Your ancestors were wise. Your emperors welcomed Islam in China, even though they did not convert to Islam. That is fine. That is what we need today. Respect on equal terms. There are many proud Muslim Hui people of China. They are the loyal citizens of China. Same with many Uyghurs. Please give the Muslim people respect, and we respect the Chinese as well.

Our Prophet Muhammad even said to his followers, Go as far as China for Education. So we respect Chinese people, but don't insult us and our way of thinking.

That is all.

:pakistan::china:

Fair enough, there a red line that no one should cross, we Chinese have a great respect of our Pakistani friend regarding Islam and we demand that our Pakistani friends to respect our country regardless of what happen within...The five principles of non inferences have made Sino-Pakistan an all weather friend...and I hope it will last for ever.

They should have long done that. China is by far the largest trading partner of Mongolia. 84% of her exports go to China and 40% of her imports come from China.

But there are resistance to learning Chinese among the older generation. I remember reading a Mongolian blog years ago explaining that they feel that the Mongols are a superior warrior race and refuse to learn anything Chinese. They are always afraid that China's huge population would pour into the vast underpopulated Mongolian steppes and reclaim the territory.

There was this Mongolian singer who married a Chinese and she became a wide-hated person there because she betrayed her 'Mongol blood'.

When I was in a northeast university in the Mainland, I met lots of students from Mongolia. The perception is definitely changing among the young.

They definitely hold less concern about Mongolia's sovereignty as they know China mostly through its soft power.

That's the point. Respect. We take you (by 'you,' I do not mean Pakistan; but, in general without reference to religion but only to the state) as you are; you take us as we are. You recognize our sovereignty; we recognize yours.

China does not recognize Vatican as a state. No diplomatic relations. There is a reason for that. We do not accept any outside power to claim to have any authority over our people.

Same goes with other religions, including Islam. So long as they drop the ideas of Islamic brotherhood that overrides sovereignty and nation-stateness, we can be in good terms.

If China ever had unsurmountable problems with others, that's not because of tough competition; but because their archaic ideas that potentially challenge our sovereignty.

Our secularity and dialectical materialism is as sacred to us as others' own cultural traits. We respect them, do not challenge them; they respect us and do not challenge ours.

That's the basis of friendship.

The point is, nothing to get excited about. Whether Mongols like China or not, it doesn't matter. Mongols learning Chinese is not for the benefit of Chinese but for themselves.

Don't underestimate things...they sent troops to Iraq in 2003 at the request of the US. You didn't see Russia or China go.

These aren't Chinese troops in Iraq
Come one man!

We all knows Mongolia can send troops is for political reason.
