Thought let me give my view, though I am not interested in your CPEC or internal affairs

China will get worried of this project in coming years. It will realize, even if it completes the project, its goods & trade will be exposed to attacks & security threats. It will make the route expensive & risky for them. This will kill the very purpose of creating this route. Its objective was to contain India & also get alternative trade route. Both are not going as they anticipated & is becoming an expensive affair

So what will be the options for them.

Occupy Pakistan & deploy their own forces. How is’t possible. They have to adapt a Xin Jiang or Tibet formula.

What is the other option.

The world diplomats including Russia will convince China, to merge Kashmir & Pakistan to India if they want the CPEC to be successful & beneficial. It will neutralise Afghanistan & Iran’s threat to large extent.

What choice China will make – only time will tell. China will never opt for a war in its neighbourhood given the SCS mess & its threats mainly from India, Japan, Vietnam & will never risk or trust Russia as long as it has ties with India. The key is India, because Dalai Lama & Lakhs of Tibetans are living in India for almost 70 years.

One question, if there is an earth quake and infrastructure in CPEC is damaged. Will China bear the loss or Pakistan need to take care of the infrastructure??

My understanding is that the Pakistan has given guarantee of the Capital and Interest, so China will not bear (bother) the loss. Pakistan Govt has to bear(bother) the losses.

Similarly, in war between India and Pak, why China bothers about the loss of CPEC, its head-ache of Pakistan. I think China has tied down Pakistan's aggression using CPEC...

China meant to say, land is disputed but it is nothing to do with CPEC.

Pakistan is not being compared to NK. Read between the fine lines. NK was merely used as an example of hollow US threats falling on deaf ears. Pakistan will never be like NK despite your desperate hidden desires.
