Free trade agreement(FTA) between China and Pakistan is a curse that we need to scrap. Free trade agreements make no sense between an 11000 billion $ modern economy of China and 300 billion $ third world economy of Pakistan, it is ruining pakistan's indigenous industry since its inception. Both Pervez Musharraf and his then finance minister Salman Shah the criminal who signed this FTA between China and Pakistan need to be prosecuted for the destruction of Pakistan's indigenous industry and consequently the economy of Pakistan post this FTA. This Salman Shah POS still comes on TV shows and "defends" and "praises" this FTA as his "achievement", only in pakistan this joker can get away with such senseless talk on national TV.

That is why US authorities are NOT wrong when they say that they don't want to finance Pakistan's deficits (whether in the form of debt or trade) with china because ultimately the money is going to China and yet Pakistani authorities think that they can fool the rest of world and keep knocking at the doors of western financial instutions like IMF, World bank or Paris Club etc. for loans after every couple of years.

It was not the US that forced Pakistan to completely open up its markets under FTA for tariff free imports of made in china junk, it was the decision by our own Mushi and his finance minister Salman Shah, I often feel they might have got some big kick backs from china to sign this sh1tty FTA between China and Pakistan.

I don't know about other things but before this FTA between china and Pakistan a lot of products used to be made in Pakistan in whatever quality but after that FTA the traders/importers got a free license to buy any kind of low quality sh1tty junk directly from china at lower prices than the local products and with time it has destroyed a lot of indigenous industrial sector or at least is a big hindrance in its growth. And chinese products that land is pakistan are of the worst quality, Chinese have different grades of products that are exported to foreign countries depending on their "worth", so to the more developed countries they will send "better" quality products but to third world countries like pakistan they will send the "junk" quality product for the same money. Or according to a punjabi saying, "Jiho jaya munh, oho jayi chpair".

in full competition market couldn't compete with cheap Chinese products
