Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu welcomed a decision by the Constitutional Council of France which said a bill that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian “genocide” of 1915 was in violation of the French Constitution.

Davutoğlu said the decision set a precedent for other possible attempts of similar "exploitations."

Davutoğlu thanked "all who contributed to carry the bill to the Constitutional Council" in a press statement today.

It's too early to celebrate both president candidates of France are going to jump on the bandwagon to get the votes of the ½ mio. armenians in France. Only thing we can do is tighten the bolts on the economy with France so they know they're going to lose a shitload of money.

It still wont add up to anything since you cannot pass into law something that goes against the constitution, it is why I am confident.

He will fast come into a dead end since the criminalization of a stated belief is directly against the French constitution and neither would he be able to cite as an example the Holocaust since that is an event that is proven without a doubt while the so called Armenian genocide has just as many historians stating that it is false or an exaggerated event.

Any law intending to criminalize the denial of the so called Armenian genocide in France is from the onset doomed to fail no matter how much the French midget minute man president wants it or sugar coats a revision.

The only way it can come into law the way I see it is if they change the constitution which however given France's history wont be changed.
