Corrupt, inept and defeated - Army backed Shahbaz Sharif Govt

This is the right time to make a change. I mean the economy is really **** up Today. In Indonesia your country has also become a news when you want to reduce your night activities.

I believe all Pakistani has dream to see Pakistan as great nation, including those in military. I mean I think there should be some consensus that should be brought up.

First thing that I think Pakistan can start is from the civil society. Intellectuals should make bipartisan organization and make several points that Pakistan should do in order to solve all the problem. The movement can become huge if all Pakistani universities get united and form many kind of reform that any government should do or what parliament should make when they are in parliament.
The military is made up of common people and they feel the same way but the bigwigs in the military, the generals are averse to the idea of anyone else threatening their grip on power. This may be difficult to understand for some as in Pakistan, the military has enjoyed near unlimited amount of influence since it's creation. It's like USA vs China. The diminishing power wants conflict with the rising power to stall it's rise. Thucydides trap etc.

Unfortunately, the ordinary people don't participate in politics or agitate for their rights and the Civil society and intelligentsia of this country is rotten to the core. During imran khan 3.5 years, the stood squarely behind the corrupt faces in govt today, protecting them. The universities are a den of pseudo-liberalism and racism/classism that justify armed insurrection against the state.

The consensus you refer to is already there. Imran khan has single handedly won 3/4th of all by-elections recently. That too against pretty much every single political party in Pakistan combined.
Now, what kind of consensus would it be to have with a bunch on people that don't even represent 25% of Pakistan, when 75% of the people are on one side i..e in consensus.

The ONLY way is to have general elections, so that the uncertainty goes away and investors, friendly countries and IMF, world bank like orgs know they are dealing with a stable, representative govt. and not one that might crumble under its own weight the second the military decides to withdraw it's support.

They are not but they are taking orders from Gen Asim and Khusra Anjum. Dirty Harry
and Rashid are hard at work to keep IK out of next election, next PM is most likely
Bilawal with the blessings of USA and es-crap-lishment.
Then we should stop calling out lowly pawns and name the real shot-callers.

So what good is this consensus when it cannot be translated to any actual and effective structural changes that the society and country needs?

The point is why the military is backing and defending the inept, corrupt and defeated Shahbaz Sharif govt. knowing it all.

So the elephant in the room is the Army who have brought and imposed this PDM mafia, and Shahbaz Sharif as the PM.

With so many NAB, FIA cases against all of them, they just grabbed the golden opportunity, and the Awam are suffering.

They are pulling the strings and PDM is a puppet.
The army, notwithstanding some outstanding officers and excellent soldiers, has been compromised at the top and has been following the agendas of a third power, the corruption in Pakistan is not just economic but now also moral, we are all standing on our high horses poting at everyone else while avoiding paying tax, bribing the police, using our connections to get the best seats, jobs, plots, , leaving behind 60-70% of the populace that have non of the benefits of money or connections. Hence, the army - the generals - are totally compromised and are closer to the incompetent gutter chors of Gawalmandi than the ideals of the founders of Pakistan. Their DHS plots and millions, foreign visas, and overseas properties matter MUCH more than Pakistan. Damn their oath.

very hard to do when the full power of the state - military, economic and legal is being used against the consensus - the majority that are being burdened by fear of the rising cost of feeding our bellies - until the day we go hungry, when that happens which Punjabi and Pathan is going to tsay home? Karachi etc are already witnessing the revolt of the downtrodden by the sharp rise in gun crimes, but when hundreds of thousands go hungry the generals and the PDM should fear for their necks, ask Marie Antionette.

Some structural changes doesnt need to be so political, changes like in business sector can be a good start.

Make Pakistan ease of doing business law like Indonesian Omnibus Law. All parties I believe understand the needs.

This is a battle for the survival of Pakistan, these corrupt PDM whores have ruined Pakistan and will not allow the people to have an education or any economic opps because then, like 90% of overseas Pakistanis, 90% educated in PK would never ever even spit at these incompetent coonts.

Last I checked, the people in consensus weren't supposed to print their own ballot papers, gather at an arbitrary place and plant there ballot papers in the ground.

Do you think Pakistan election is not fair ? So why did IK win in previous election ?

The parliament system is limiting Pakistan potency. Better dont talk too much about division and focus on forming Presidential system as soon as possible. Presidential system can empower civilian rule, this is something that you need if you think military intervention in politics is one of your big problem

Attempting the murder of a former Prime Minister out of vanity is absurd.
Money and survival are at stake.
Officers at ISI are aware that if they break the law or commit treason, Ik will have their necks.
And if civilians can hold just one officer to account for giving illegal orders, then in the future no one will obey such orders.
Pakistan is at stake here.
The Pakistan of the people or the Pakistan of those who secretly record and distribute intimate footage of our mothers, sisters, and ourselves is the only possible outcome.

Which only reinforces the fact that no significant change will be forthcoming from said consensus, no matter how produced, for the foreseeable future.

Oh they do understand the needs alright, it is just that they are not going to do anything effective to change the system.

Woh din kab aaye ga? Not anytime soon, it seems.

Army general's are out of control and for far too long worked and looted the country the way which was not in their mandate. Now Generals feel threatened as they are going to loose their privileges, power to loot, position to manipulate the elections and impose weak politicians for their own benefits.
Time is nearing when they are going to be appearing in the court of law and answer few questions about their own unlawful actions and courts will be opening and working day time. These filthy criminals gang of regime change generals must be brought to the book once for all. No one is above the law even prophets have suffered for their mistakes never mind these deceiving mortals and can't wait the day when Bajwa is wetting his pants and Miss Anjuman hair are chopped off.
